Not everyone is genetically favoured with the metabolism of a greyhound.
There were also initial claims that the mom and grandma were feeding her too soon after the surgery and the nursing staff had to intervene. Eating too soon can cause excessive bleeding, which is how this tragedy started. Then the gag order was placed on the hospital and no further comments were made. It was fast food, by the way.
Oh well if it wasn’tt routine, then of course she should die!
You know, you are most likely so blissfully unaware of what it’s like to have your precious child die. May you remain in that happy ignorance.
sheesh
How many 13 year olds have metabolic issues? She’s obese. There is no reason to beat around the bush.
And you know this how?
“Initial claims”? Do mean claims that were not substantiated?
The surgery was RECOMMENDED by the surgeon, not her mother.
But even if her mother isn't a great mother, why should Jahi be killed?
I never wrote that. Don’t put words into my mouth. When an article omits part of the truth, I want to question other statements that it makes. This is no doubt a tragedy and your hyperbole does not add to the conversation.
Furthermore, do not talk about losing children to a 36 year old with cancer and three kids under seven. It makes you look ghoulish.
The docs killed her? So it was murder?
Yes, there were "claims" that were NEVER substantiated.
Do you believe EVERYTHING that the San Francisco Bay Area press says about the culture of death?
They could never be substantiated or unsubstantiated. The parents’ lawyer dropped the gag order on the hospital.
No, she is VERY MUCH ALIVE, nobody killed her. The negligence of the doctors and hospital staff DISABLED her.
Do you considered disabled persons to be alive, or are they just some sort of "sub-human" in your mind?
“that girl has been functionally dead for the last two years.”
EVERYONE said that a brain dead body can’t survive. That the endocrine system would fail and that the body would quickly break down within a few months. It was said that it was impossible to keep someone alive who is brain dead for very long without massive medical intervention.
It is impossible for her to be brain dead with a healthy body after two years.
Doctors have confirmed that she can hear and that her brain is responding to stimuli. She is still in there.
Her body is quite healthy and she’s begun puberty. She continues to grow and develop. She’s only getting food and room air through a vent. She’s not getting hormonal support or any other medical intervention.
The doctors were wrong.
After two freaking years, it’s time to admit that mom was right.
Then why do you repeat them?
They were never proven false, either. Do you believe everything the press says?
Look people, my point is that you can’t believe everything you read. That was the entire point of my original post. It was over your heads, apparently. If this author is going to omit certain facts, then what makes the rest of what they say true, even if you want to believe it?
Amen.
You’re not making any sense here.
You asked if she should be killed for having a bad mom, not me. So ifs she’s alive, then attempted murder?
I made it clear that they were claims, not the gospel. That this girl is responding to stimuli is also a claim. Has anybody seen it, or are you just repeating them?

And it turned out that this was an internet lie with no basis in reality. But please. Keep spreading the rumor.
