There are many dishonest people who have deliberately misrepresented the facts to smear Cruz.
I recognized it for what it was early on. Nobody was tougher on border control than Duncan Hunter Sr. He was a pro at the poison pill legislative tricks. The open border boys would try to feed us amnesty by the teaspoon and Duncan Hunter would drop a 55 gallon drum of the same into the legislation. The open border boys would scatter in fear.

Even so, when he ran in 2008 the same types attacking Cruz now were attacking Hunter then. All in favor of their RINO candidate.
