An entrepreneur used data from Nasa to understand where most of the world's population resides and found half of us are crammed into just one percent of the world.

From their perspective in the cities it's an entirely reasonable conclusion. The city heat island effect causing much higher temperatures makes even a belief in human caused global warming a reasonable conclusion.
