ANDREW BREITBART: Donald Trump Is Not A Conservative (2011)
Business Insider ^ | Apr. 23, 2011 | Steven Loeb

Posted on 01/12/2016 11:26:35 AM PST by justlittleoleme

Appearing on the O'Reilly Factor last night, with guest host Juan Williams, radio host Leslie Marshall and conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart agreed that a potential Donald Trump candidacy is a bad sign for America.

Marshall warned America about what happens when you elect a celebrity for office like they did in California with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"No experience, a lot of celebrity and a lot of cult of personality. And we see more of that in politics. So I would say don't underestimate the Donald.

-snip-

"Quite frankly, this celebrity goes a long way. Remember, the number one reason people vote for a candidate, Juan, is name recognition. He has huge name recognition."

Breitbart also did not seem to be a fan of Trump either, saying "he is not a conservative." He also had a warning for Republicans if they don't get their act together.

"Celebrity is everything in this country. And if these guys don't learn how to play the media the way that Barack Obama played the media last election cycle and the way that Donald Trump is playing the election cycle, we're going to probably get a celebrity candidate."

I use most of my time supporting my candidate. He has many good qualifications to be President of the United States of America. In case you haven’t noticed, a huge number of other Americans think so too.

When I see someone whose sole purpose on a forum is to denigrate and trash other’s candidates; it makes me wonder if you really support anyone.

Donald Trump gave a lot of money and time to a lot of people, Republicans, Democrats and just plain citizens because he was a businessman. The business of making money is no different than a politician’s trade of taking it. They both require people skills. If you think Cruz’s dealings as a politician haven’t shined some of the same boots Trump has, then you are terribly new at politics.

We also need to “clear the air” if Trump paid off any building inspectors to pass his buildings which were built by contractors connected to organized crime.

Sure would be a shame if this was brought up by Hillary and all Trump buildings would have to evacuated until it was cleared up.

WE WE WE just want to hep you Donald.

What did Trump know and when did he know it about B Clinton giving the Chinese missile tech enabling them to target the US with nukes?

We’re just helping you Donald.

I think he needs to “clear the air” about his companies’ rampant use of the H2-B visa program to employ foreign workers in menial jobs at a pittance instead of paying wages that American workers demand. If he doesn’t address that, Hillary is surely going to bring it up, so he needs to get ahead of this!

I don’t see how anyone can be as bad as Obama.

“In case you haven’t noticed, a huge number of other Americans think so too.”

A large number of Americans thought Obama was going to be a great President. Look how that turned out.

Trump’s got a lot of air clearing to do and we’re just helping him do it.

Trump also needs to clear the air about his comment that Pam Geller shouldn’t have insulted the muslims with her mad mo cartoon contest and if she hadn’t insulted the muslims there wouldn’t have been an attempted mass murder.

Cruz wouldn’t make DEALS with democrats, Trump will.

We also need to remember those DEALS Cruz won’t be making with democrats includes not making DEALs to cover up the corruption which is going to spill over to the GOPe not just dems.

Catfish,
seeing only the portion posted from the book and not seeing what was written next, leaves me to wonder if Donald was just asking a reasonable question, not actually insulting.

questioning some one (thing) is not an insult, unless the receiver of the question is in defensive mindset then ANYTHING said could be mistakenly perceived as an insult.

(that’s just how I see things - choosing not to live from a victim/defense mentality that is all too prevalent theses days)

You can see but you are blind. The cult you describe is Obama’s. Trump is something completely different. Fact is you do not understand Trump.
Study the Am Rev. That is the key to understanding. Paine, Adams and Washington will give you insights that will bring you to your knees.

“Trump is something completely different.”

His politics are different, certainly, but cults of personality come in all flavors, politically, and that is exactly what Trump has built up around himself.

Trump may not be philosophically conservative, but he is philosophically American.

He is the wrench available to throw into the wheels of The Cheap Labor Express.

Breitbart taught the tea party patriots ( the actual ppl , not just the organization ) how to fight back . He gave us the courage to just go ahead and (figuratively) punch the Liberal pukes in the nose . He and Allen West led the way in turning their Alinsky tactics right back on them .
I salute Andrew Breitbart , whom I think would by now have reassessed his opinions ( and remarks ) about Donald Trump .

America needs a Mack Truck to drive thru the front door of socialist Liberalism . Trump is that truck
