Is the Trump campaign morphing into the Giuliani campaign Part II?
Self

Now that Trump is making his defense of New York values the centerpiece of his campaign and doing that by making everything about 911 it seems to me like his campaign is sounding more and more like Giuliani 2.0. Here are the reasons I am thinking so.

1. He is trying to wrap himself and his New York values in 9/11 heroism.

2. His supporters don't seem to care about the fact that he publically attributed his support for partial birth abortion to growing up in New York City.

3. Many of his supporters seem to be quite happy to write off social conservatism and social conservatives completely.

4. His campaign has become all about being a strong leader with a personality cult.

5. All of the sudden much of the Gope and the liberal media is on his side while he defends their social liberalism from Senator Cruz.

So, I have to ask. Is Free Republic really going to support Trump now that he has morphed into Giuliani 2.0?

yep. its guiliani 2.0

even ann coulter has said only immigration matters which means if a candidate is a marxist pro-abort but says what she likes on immigration she’ll vote for that person

Trump has said more than once that his Favorite SCOTUS Justice is Clarence Thomas. He has also mentioned Justice Scalia. I would think that Cruz would agree with both.

If Cruz doesn’t get the Nomination, I would hope someday I could say that Ted Cruz is my Favorite Supreme Court Justice, make that Chief Justice.

It wasn’t a paper work mistake. He deliberately hid the fact about the loans from the FEC.

Cruz is sneaky.

Somehow to Cruzers, all of Cruz’s shifty deals are paper work mistakes. LOL

He is supposedly the smartest guy on the planet.

Okay, I've thought some more. Trump is right - Cruz is holding Trump back now. Trump has to be tough. My weakness is why Republicans always back down from the hot-seat.

I'm going to be tough, too.

We need Trump.
