Do you think Hillary or Bernie will have Trump’s divorce records unsealed like Obama did to his senate opponent in ‘06?

It’s not so much that they are Cruz haters ... it’s more that they have this cult worship thing going for Trump.

Trump was okay with Cruz as long as Cruz was making no waves and staying safely in second place.

Trump heard somewhere or someone tweeted to him that Cruz might have a chance to take Iowa. Then Trump went all Ben Carson on Cruz and Trump’s supporters followed in line.

I wish they wouldn’t lie about Cruz. I don’t lie about Trump. It’s like Truman said, “I don’t give ‘em hell; I tell the truth and they think it’s hell.”

More noob hating? How original.

Also I didn’t bug out, was watching that train wreck of the Dem debate and drinking a scotch.

The last name is not Schmidt... Please don’t associate me with that vile creature.

As far as this video it asks an important question... I also find it telling that Cruz blamed his staff and not take responsibility for his actions... Something not right with going on here.

Interesting to see FReepers go all Obama on us and go all-out on attack against... not Jeb... not Rubio... but the most conservative man in the race... Has the zombie apocalypse started?

Oh, no. Not the zombie apocalypse. I am watching all the re-runs of The Walking Dead.

Those zombies are really ugly. I’m thinking of seeing if I can get a job as a zombie extra ... I’ve got the walk down.

And those zombies are always grabbing guts out of people when I’m trying to eat in front of the TV. I say to them, “Please ... I’m eating.” And they just look up and say “So are we.”

But yes Freepers are getting a little scary with this Trump mania ... it should be over by July.

Divorce records should probably be personal... anyway, the first wife has done well financially so she won’t have much to say.

Soooo, as a staunch defender of noobs, why did you choose to join so recently? If it’s any of my business.

So far, I don’t believe Trump has lied about Cruz. I don’t believe I have. Stating facts is not lying.

First off I’ve been lurking here since 2006 so I am a noob in name only.

Second, I decided that after Paris it was time to speak up. The West is under attack from cultural marxist pukes who our nations over-run with third world hordes.

Immigration is the most important question this election, and if we don’t get it right KISS AMERICA GOODBYE.

Painting: The Flagellation of Christ, William Bouguereau 1825 - 1905

...Christie readily admitted how and why he'd done a 180 on a number of positions over the years.

A 19th century philosopher had something to add to this discussion:

For nonconformity the world whips you with its displeasure.   And therefore a man must know how to estimate a sour face.   The by-standers look askance on him in the public street or in the friend's parlor.

The other terror that scares us from self-trust is our consistency; a reverence for our past act or word, because the eyes of others have no other data for computing our orbit than our past acts, and we are loath to disappoint them.

But why should you keep your head over your shoulder? Why drag about this corpse of your memory, lest you contradict somewhat you have stated in this or that public place?   Suppose you should contradict yourself; what then?

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines.   With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do.   He may as well concern himself with his shadow on the wall.

Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what tomorrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day.   "Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood."   Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood?   Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and Reagan and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh.

To be great is to be misunderstood.

      Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance

Actually there is a question about whether or not Ted’s mother became a Canadian citizen when her husband did.

No, that would not be the question. It would be whether at any time she renounced her American citizenship.

Sheesh.

And wasn’t “interesting” to see that “solid conservative” campaign for Barack Obama’s trade agenda a few months ago? There are reasons why many no longer support Cruz and it’s going nothing to with the fairy tale “cult” of Trump.

I'm not with Emerson. If I change my position, then it is accompanied with an explanation as to why.

Foolish inconsistency is the hob goblin of any mind.

That’s because his daddy constantly drilled it into his head that he was ‘special’ from the time he was a kid. Apparently, he’s had an enormous ego & a sense of entitlement ever since he was in college.

One story is that the girls in a dormitory near his asked his roommate to keep Ted away from them. It wasn’t because they found him irresistible, although I imagine that’s what he thought it was.

It Is weird. The most intense Cruz haters are women. One example is my mother. She said to me that there is something devious and creepy about Cruz, and she would NEVER vote for him. Said he always sounds like he is giving a sermon. She is more conservative than most on FR. Committed to vote for Trump.

Apparently he has creeped out women for a long time if your dorm thing is true.
