Bush I took Nixon’s China policy and put it on steroids. The “New World Order” devolved into a de industrialism policy of the West while forming the Cheap Labor Express we have today destroying the domestic labor market. Bush II wanted amnesty and open borders. Yes it was Bush’s fault. Bush I & II that is. Bush III anyone?

What a bitter disappointment!

Back in the early days of the 21st century, I praised the Bush Dynasty to High Heaven!

I nominated George W. Bush for Mt. Rushmore! Lauded Jeb as the next President of the U.S.A.! And happily predicted that Jeb's successor would be George P. Bush!

Then I began to realize that George W. had absolutely no intention of securing the Mexican Border or halting illegal immigration--in violation of his duty to do so and his Oath of Office to enforce U.S. law. Furthermore he seemed to have NO understanding of the problem that illegal immigration posed.

Then I realized that he was on a spending spree that made Lyndon Johnson look downright parsimonious.

Then I realized that the U.S.A. was in a downward death spiral and that the Bushes were part of the problem!

Then, as even I myself was sinking into despair--along came Donald Trump! Who also recognized the problem and its extent! Who offered to reverse the decadence responsible for the death spiral! Who had the intelligence, the aggressiveness, the resources, and the moxie to do it! Was honest! And didn't give a damn what anybody else thought! Who recognized the enormity of the job needed and was willing to do it! Who did not want the job, but recognized the seriousness of the situation, and was willing to roll up his sleeves and rescue America!

And I realized that millions of Americans not only agreed with my assessment, but also agreed that Trump is the man to restore America to ascendancy!

I'll say this for the Bushes: They love America and their intentions are good! And they are good, decent, honorable people.

However, they have lost their way along with millions of other Americans.

Donald Trump has not!

America desperately needs a hero, and Donald Trump has offered his services!

That's why he is going to be the next President of the U.S.A.

I think the nation is divided between the Decadent and the Ascendant.

I've said many times recently that I wonder how seriously Jeb Bush really takes this campaign.

With the baggage that comes with his family name, it would have been very difficult for him to get elected even if he was a perfect candidate running a perfect campaign.

All I hear in his TV ads is “Jeb has a plan”!

Like John Kerry did.

This thread is about the Bushes, not the Kennedys.

I think a significant number of Republicans have rejected Cruz because he’s ALREADY in the gubmint, and view him not as “experienced” but tainted. Same with Rubio.

Once Bush I began hanging around with Clinton, the colors of the raider ship was flying.

Bush and Clinton hung around together, long before Bush was in the White House, see Mena Airport.

Jeb was promised by his family and donors that he wouldn’t have to work hard to get the nomination. So he’s just upset and pouty because things didn’t go they way he was promised.

I know about the airport but that was kind of out of the public eye at the time. His arm in arm dance after Clintoon left office was more than I could take.

My grandma used to tell me you will be judged by the company you keep.

You need to spit out that last mouthful of Kool-Aid! Prescott Bush worked for the Nazis for two decades, and it's been downhill morally and patriotically for the next two generations.

We haven’t seen the last of Bush.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Or the Clintons. That pig Chelsea is making noises about running for office.

Jeb was promised by his family and donors that he wouldn't have to work hard to get the nomination.

I'm not sure how anyone could have guaranteed something like that. With his name, Bush would have lost to any Republican with half a brain in the 2016 primary season.

The Clintons and the Bushes are both done, spent.

Chelsea will be the butt of comedians for years, the legacy Bill and Hillary have as predator enablers will stick.

Likewise with Jeb, poor guy was clueless as to why no one wants to listen to him. It would take a generation, and some earth shattering record of accomplishing some clearly good things to change the political fortunes of anyone from either of the two families.

Not likely to happen.
