Your butt hurt is your own fault; Trump had offered no reason for anyone to be swooning over him. He didn’t have a chance in Iowa, and his phony birther attack was the slimiest event of this election cycle.
Yeah, it “backfired” so bad that Cruz won Iowa convincingly and now his numbers will go up in the other states.

If not....well, I’ve experienced “misunderstandings” like that for years, some including apologies and some just left like a turd in the punchbowl.
My best advice to you is just let the thing go until the guys responsible decide how they’re going to handle their little cluster.

Carson protested too much.
I have a mounting stack of his beg letters, indicating that he is kaput. He needs to speak nicely of Cruz if he wants his debt covered by the man his supporters are flocking to.

No he’s not. This is what happens when an assumption is made and acted on. Never act on assumptions - you’d think Cruz and his team would know that. Remember what the word assume breaks down into. They could have confirmed it, at one of the caucuses Carson’s wife had to straighten it out. What if she hadn’t been there??
Nobody could rely of that CNN report as anything. It was a mature hour by the two talking heads. Nobody with the save to run a campaign would have been taken in by that. Total BS that CNN is to blame for Cruz Campaign actions. Just sayin.
