But when the seller showed up, asking $490 for a pair of Air Jordan 8 Retro sneakers...

Those things cost an arm and a leg.

He won't have a leg to stand on.

Dumb driver... invited a stranger into his car... turned around and used his vehicle as a weapon after the danger to himself had passed. The attempted murder charge is appropriate.

The teen got the sever(e) lesson, which I cannot cry too much about.

$500 bucks for a pair of shoes? Do they have jet engines inside of them or something?

Let me go out on a limb and say that my feelings are somewhat detached. The unarmed man, who was armed with a gun, attempted to rip off the victim, who had no arms, and responded by disarming the unarmed man, chasing him with his vehicle, and ripping off the disarmed man's arm. Now he must shoulder the blame for ripping off the unarmed man's arm, since the unarmed man had been disarmed previously and could no longer be seen as a threat.

There is nothing humerus about the situation.
