Rush Limbaugh: Let’s face it, Trump sounded like a liberal Dem in some things he said at debate

Here we are in a Republican primary, and Donald Trump, out of the blue, starts blaming the Bush family for 9/11, for knowing that the intelligence was made up, that there never were any weapons of mass destruction, and they knew it, Trump said.

Michael Moore doesn’t even say that…

On the stage at a Republican debate, Donald Trump defended Planned Parenthood. Not the abortion stuff, he said, but the fact that they do great things for women’s health. Folks, there were a number of occasions where Donald Trump sounded like the Daily Kos blog, where Donald Trump sounded like the Democrat Underground, sounded like any average host on MSNBC.

D@mn right. FReepers can shoot the messenger all they want, I couldn't care less, but it doesn't change a word of what Trump said at the debate and how he came off to a whole lot of us. When is the acting presidential thing suppose to finally kick in?

whoops! big type mixing up Trump and Rush. Fixed here:

Let’s face it, I liked Rush better when he was on Oxycotin. Rubio the “Full throated Conservative” and Ted Cruz the return of Ronald Reagan could only come from a mind that no longer works correctly. RUSH also fails to understand the conservative opposition to the Iraq War as seen with guys like Pat Buchannon or the libertarian Ron Paul, which, these days, is the majority view, albeit without the obnoxiousness anti-Americanism of Paul.

Like about every talk show host, they need a deeply troubled country to line their pockets.

I guess it falls into the view that I hold, that he is a populist, and not necessarily a traditional conservative.

I have to bank on the Immigration and Second Amendment issues, those are my primary concerns.

I do have concerns about parts of his agenda. But he’d be worlds better than Clinton, Sanders, or Bush.

Hush Bimbo back during the gang of eight fight ridiculed deportation, saying it was "unrealistic," and basically endorsed the Ted Cruz plan of enforcing the borders, barring citizenship, and THEN legalizing illegals.

Now Hush Bimbo does not remember this history and pretends Cruz opposed legalization back then and not just the pathway to citizenship.

This is so bizarre. Reading self-claiming “Conservative” criticize the leading voice of conservatism, sounding like a flaming lunatic liberal. What the hell happened to you and the other lib loving Trump suckers?

If he wins, I’m going to have a blast ragging you guys off of this forum.

Hush Bimbo was for legalization of illegals a long time ago. Not sure if he ever changed that position. The "leading voice of conservatism" is fallible and thinks Marco Rubio would make a great President.

The leading voice of conservatism should get back on the oxycotin or at least get hooked on some new type of drug. Maybe amphetamines.

That was ok. Rubio had accused him of being an Hispanic that doesn’t speak Spanish, kind of like calling him an oreo, and he had to say something in Spanish to prove he could. He said “dude, tell it to them in Spanish if you want, go ahead.” (I found out the next day). Kind of funny. Cubans get very exercised. You could probably get the two of them to fistfight if you goaded them right.

So, other than supporting a worthless, disgusting piece of filth for president, what have YOU done to advance the conservative agenda?

>>He’s a big government statist.<<

What part of big military and strong borders do you disagree with? Because those are not “small government” notions.

As I have pointed out here before, the founders created a powerful central government compared with the loose confederation that existed before. Abraham Lincoln was the ultimate statist, fighting the bloodiest war to maintain a strong nation and curtail states’ rights.

I personally would place “American patriot” as a higher accolade in 2016 than “Conservative.” IF THE CURRENT POLICIES CONTINUE, THERE WON’T BE ANYTHING LEFT TO CONSERVE.

Sometimes I think “Conservatives” can be a bit inconsistent.

"Consider Iraq. After each pounding from U.S . warplanes, Iraq has dusted itself off and gone right back to work developing a nuclear arsenal. Six years of tough talk and U.S. fireworks in Baghdad have done little to slow Iraq’s crash program to become a nuclear power. They’ve got missiles capable of flying nine hundred kilometers—more than enough to reach Tel Aviv. They’ve got enriched uranium. All they need is the material for nuclear fission to complete the job, and, according to the Rumsfeld report, we don’t even know for sure if they’ve laid their hands on that yet. That’s what our last aerial assault on Iraq in 1999 was about. Saddam Hussein wouldn’t let UN weapons inspectors examine certain sites where that material might be stored. The result when our bombing was over? We still don’t know what Iraq is up to or whether it has the material to build nuclear weapons. I’m no warmonger. But the fact is, if we decide a strike against Iraq is necessary, it is madness not to carry the mission to its conclusion. When we don’t, we have the worst of all worlds: Iraq remains a threat, and now has more incentive than ever to attack us.

-Donald Trump
