9/11 was never part of the justification for the War in Iraq. That war was all about controlling WMDs in order to prevent them from falling into the hands of terrorists.
Either Trump knows this, and does not care, or Trump does not know this, which means he is completely uninformed. Either way, it is bad.

Actually WMD's was just one of the items listed in the IWR (Iraq War Resolution), there were 9 items IIRC.
It was all about Bush2 wanting to take revenge for Hussein had stayed in power, and Bush1 was kicked to the curb. The WMD was just an excuse. Bush2 like Bush1 had an administration loaded up with neo-cons who were screaming for war, and Bush2 gave them one.

But why is The Donald fighting the Iraqi war and launching into wild conspiracy theories about 9-11?
Think about how ridiculous the above sentence looks now. Yet we all fell for it. It's not a strategy, it's a plot line for "Team America: World Police." It's a pathetic joke. Bush was a complete disaster. And the Saudis got away with it. He even shuttled them out of the country after 9/11, while we peasants were still grounded.
