(Photo by Cassi Alexandra/For The Washington Post) Ted Cruz speaks in Des Moines on Feb. 1. (Cassi Alexandra for The Washington Post) Sen. Ted Cruzâs (R-Tex.) decision to ask for the resignation of his communications director Rick Tyler, forced to apologize about passing on a false story and video claiming Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) had derided the Bible, is the latest calamity to befall the cocky hard-line Texan.
It did not come at a good time, to put it mildly. The incident was another rotten news day for Cruz following a disappointing South Carolina showing. Just a day before the Nevada caucuses, the story will be one of the last things voters hear about before tomorrow. It is bound to come up in the debate Thursday night as well. If Cruz follows South Carolina with a disappointing result in Nevada, the SEC primary â already looking dicey â may turn out to be his undoing.

He's saying he's for eminent domain.
He's saying he's for Planned Parenthood funding.
He's saying he wants single payer health care.
He's saying He likes government subsidies.
He's saying hell make deals with Democrats.
Is that REALLY what you want to hear? Isn't that what pi$$ed us off in the first place???
That's just the point. He's saying what people want to hear just like any other salesman. Obama did the same thing. He's making points off of your justifiable anger. Trump has waffled around on healthcare, Cruz launched a 21 hour filibuster against it in the senate.
He's a used car salesman. He STARTED OUT saying what we wanted to hear, but now he's running as a democrat. See post #61.
His supporters aren't even noticing his bait and switch! They're now supporting another Hillary!
Without eminent domain we’ll never have another pipeline in this country.
He wants to defund Planned Parenthood. http://www.lifenews.com/2015/10/19/donald-trump-planned-parenthood-should-absolutely-be-de-funded/
He’s saying obamacare sucks. Medicare and Medicade are single payer health care plans and that works minus the fraud. I’m sure something can be worked out that will be better than the UK or Canada.
I don’t like government subsidies so that’s one for you.
The man is master at making deals. What’s wrong with working WITH democrats. I’m sure he will never get a bad deal from them. What, you don’t think politics should be non-partisan?
On the two issues that matter most this election, immigration and terrorism; Trump is by far the go to guy to straighten things out. If you don’t see that then you must be blind.
There are 36 countries that have better healthcare systems than the US and most of them if not all are single payer. We pay far too much for pharmaceuticals because we don’t negotiate. We tolerate waste and fraud. I’m all for a single payer system that actually works. The VA is supposedly a single payer system but it is full of corruption. I have every confidence that the Trumpster will get this right because he has a proven history of success. For starters it would be run like a business! With all the premiums Americans pay you don’t think we could get a great system along the lines of Medicare if operated as a business?
Don’t get me wrong, the quality of our doctors and healthcare itself far exceed the rest of the world, paying for it and how we go about that is what is screwed up.

Here is an excellent article regarding anchor babies. Technically Rubio is not qualified to be President. This has to be finalized.

Is he pro-life today?
