Good old “shovel ready” jobs.

And I’ll bet SlowJoe got the job to oversee the financials as “stimulus sheriff”

Make English your official language and we’ll talk about giving you some cash, maybe.

Bankruptcy? No, they’ll just end up back here asking for more. No pain, no change.

I guess all the corrupt Democrat politicians in Puerto Rico needed more money to pay off their bills for Christmas.

Off topic but I always get confused about Puerto Rico. They are a “commonwealth” I believe. They are not a state but their residents are American citizens. They are basically self governing but as we see here, Obama is willing to bail them out from poor financial choices made by their government. A bailout which does not happen for actual states of the United States may happen for a place of lesser status such as Puerto Rico.

Then some people want to make Puerto Rico the 51st state for unknown reasons.

We should cut this welfare dump loose & let them run the island as a nation. Sink or swim time.

No surprise. I’m only surprised they haven’t intervened in the PR bond payment crisis, and then claimed that as a prototype partnership for solving state and local pension crises in places like Chicago and Detroit.
