A group of scientists recently put out a new study confirming the 15-year "hiatus" in global warming. That study made headlines, but what went largely unnoticed was a major admission made by the paperâs authors: the climate models were wrong.
"There is this mismatch between what the climate models are producing and what the observations are showing," John Fyfe, Canadian climate modeler and lead author of the new paper, told Nature. "We can't ignore it."
"Reality has deviated from our expectations - it is perfectly normal to try and understand this difference," Ed Hawkins, co-author of the study and United Kingdom climate scientist, echoed in a blog post.

Am I correct in understanding the above statement to mean that Michael Mann himself was a co-author of a study which shows that the climate models do not correspond to observable fact?
That is HUGE, if true.
“There is this mismatch between what the climate models are producing and what the observations are showing,”
but we still want to force people to waste trillions of dollars based on our failed forecasts !
They’ve manipulated, er ‘adjusted’, the data all they can get away with, and they still can’t get it to match the climate models.
naaa..
couldnt be!
this is settled science!
the heat must be hiding! ROFL
(Makes about as much sense as man made climate change)
Is that an ambidextrous holster?
Say "We Lied"
Maybe he got a grant from a denier group?
No doubt.
Global Warming on Free Republic here, here and here
More study is needed.
Is that an ambidextrous holster?
I’d be willing to try both hands to find out.
This model here has a well-rounded algorithm for the back side of warm fronts.
Climate models failing to Predict Global Warming?amaybe that’s because you can’t predict what is not happening or will not occurr.
All this Global warming crap is is another way to get into the wallet of the American worker.
[I got yer “climate model” right here:]
Given my luck, she would be frigid. And windy.
Incrementally breaking into the reality of the coming ice age resurgence.
Well, duh.
