They are calling it with only 18% in but Florida was only called for Trump with over 50% in and a greater percentage.

Kasich did not even get a simple majority in his own state’s primaries. He’s a sitting governor. Sad.

too bad, if a correct call
we will check back later to make sure its correct, of course
but if Ohio actually voted for Kasich, that’s a total loser of a vote.... imho....his politics are horrible (basically same as Hillary the Hun)
we will see. anyway, he’s not going to get the nomination so this will just go down as a little footnote or speedbump in the eventual winner’s path to the WH, imho

Big victory. One state. A popular governor in his own state. Big deal.

With Rubio dropping out, and Kasich winning Ohio a contested convention is a strong possibility.

In every debate he always started out with what he did for Ohio and followed almost every question with “well the fact of the matter is” and it drove me crazy (well I’m almost there anyway so it would have been a short trip).

From The Hill:
About 7 percent of the voters in the open Ohio GOP primary were Democrats and 28 percent were independents, according to exit polls published by MSNBC.
So, perhaps now the Cruz people will finally give up on the lie that Trump only wins because Dems and Independents cross over. Tonight we have a closed primary in Florida, where Trump dominated, and we have significant numbers crossing over in an open primary in Ohio, where Kasich has won.
Case closed. (I know this will fall on deaf ears.)
