Some of Cruz’s campaign staff quit right before the Iowa
caucus, one of them citing dirty tactics being used by Cruz and also said he never mentioned his faith to his staff. Said he’s never heard him mention God or pray except in front of supporters.

THE foundation of this plan was the Solid South and a total sweep. He got NONE of it except Texas which to me isn’t traditionally part of that solid south, but who’s to quibble?
