You must be talking about the Donald’s wives. If you think they are buying the “drug store kind of makeup” you’re nuts. I guess that means they are the kind of women who don’t want to give their husband a kiss. Can’t say as I blame then. I wouldn’t want to kiss the Donald’s ugly mug either.

It’s a media event. Ted Cruz is likely wearing a red lipstick (not an expensive kind) designed to make his lips show up on TV. Many politicians do that.
A peck on the cheek with that would look very different on Cruz than a mashup of smudged red (with or without pink transfer).
