Of Cruz and Trump, Religious Freedom and Big Corporations
3/30/2016 | Self

"I thought that was very disappointing to see Governor Deal in Georgia side with leftist activists"

Ted Cruz reacts to Republican Georgia Governor Nathan Deal's veto of religious freedom legislation 3/28/2016

While there were "leftist" forces who opposed the religious freedom bill in Georgia, more important than that big corporations including those based in Georgia and professional sports organizations like the NFL were in the forefront of opposition.

Their involvement was ignored by Ted Cruz in his response.

So far I have seen no response from Donald Trump to Governor Deal's veto of the watered down religious freedom bill aimed at protecting religious institutions who object to gay marriage, but not individual religious people who operate photography or baking businesses, for example.

Of course, Trump supporters could argue he's already on the wrong side of the business elites by wanting to build a wall on the nation's southern border and wanting to control immigration from "Muslim countries".

That runs totally contrary to their open borders, cheap labor crossing borders, open trade and economic relations across sovereign nations borders etc. etc.

Frankly, I'm plain disappointed with both candidates on this matter for different reasons.

Ted Cruz, for what little he said and Donald Trump for saying nothing.

Let the fight go on, down and dirty as it is.

I have supported Ted Cruz and can accept Trump but won't accept either one with a RINO running mate.

Our country needs to start moving in a different direction and a willingness to hit the big corporations and their control over the politics of this nation from open borders to religious freedom will go a long way in making me more willing to support candidates for president and other political offices.

Perhaps it will take a new third political party to see the kind of positions being advocated that I can heartily support.

We have these Uniparties, one which pretends to be "Conservative" and the other one which pretends to be "Progressive".

Bernie Sanders is certainly exposing the truth about Hillary Clinton, who is as bought and paid for by the elites as folks like Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush.

And then you have Rush who pretends to be a conservative who is not part of the tuling elite. But is actually nothing more then a mouth piece for the ruling elites in Washington while still trying to pretend he’s not.

Rush is a fraud.

...and Rush would ask for specifics as to the allegation of fraud, and rightly so.

I’m sure you have an opinion on Trump, Cruz, religious freedom and the Uniparty politics of this country and hope to hear from you about that.

I’ve been listening to Rush since he started in DC market. Recently stopped, which many have. Just listen to him go on and on about sCruz while trashing Trump. Go on the show tread here on FR and read what long time fans are posting about him now. Something that would never have happened in the past.

It is of no concern to the President how the states order their business as long as one states law does not interfere with another state.

I’ll have to pay more attention. Don’t get to listen every day so haven’t heard what got my attention yesterday on Mark Levin’s show where he could not let go of the incident with the Breitbart news gal in FL. Had to turn to another station it was so bad, and when I went back over an hour later to see if the subject had changed, no he was still on it. Very anti-trump. I departed the show again.
