On Friday's Wolf show on CNN, during a discussion of whether Republicans can stay united after a divisive presidential convention, CNN's Nia-Malika Henderson recalled complaints by some Republicans that Ted Cruz "might not even be that much better" than Donald Trump as a nominee.
She and CNN's Gloria Borger were then amused over "Lose with Cruz" as a possible campaign slogan for the GOP after Henderson suggested Republicans would prefer to have Cruz lose the general election as the nominee rather than have Trump heading the ticket.

Or whoever the GOPe pulls out from under a rock. A vote for Cruz is a vote for Hillary plain and simple.

Until the late 1920s each Mormon male swore a blood oath that they would destroy the United States government in revenge for the death of joseph Smith in 1844..
Every man’s descendants as yet unborn to the 4th generation were included in that oath ...
so when George Romney took it or his father before him Willard Mitt Romney was part of that ceremony even though he was born 20 years after the treasonous promise went underground..
George Romney was born in Mexico to a Mormon polygamous family who adhered to all the old and established tenets of the religion..George may have been old enough to take the oath himself as at age 12 a Mormon boy is considered an ‘aaronic priest’ with certain privileges and powers among them authority over other Mormons including all the women even his own mother...
If George didn’t take the blood oath which at that time was still a correct part of Mormonism, then when his father took it George, Willard and Willard’s FIVE boys were included with the grandfather’s pagan ritual...
since only the practice is no longer evident but now in secret, the items listed in the actual oath are still ongoing, and the Romneys still believe it...
What the Romneys both father and son have done in the last 50+ years to American politics have not furthered the progress of Conservatism nor the Republican Party but have hindered and rendered corrupted any hope of a strong national leader or POTUS...unless we can get a man in who is not GOPe..
Thus the work begun by that Mormon oath intended to curse America has proven this Romney family to be traitors...

I had a big campaign button that said “In Your Heart You know he’s right” Extreme right was Rockefeller’s addition
They made sure Goldwater was not even close in that election against LBJ. Then we got the “I told you so” by the opponents. And LBJ got his War On Poverty. Financed with our Social security funds.
True. Plus, Trump is the only candidate on either side that talks about the debt and is not a business as usual politician.
He is a once in a lifetime opportunity, for sure.
Cruz won’t be tossed aside. They need his voters. He’ll be given something. They’ll run polls asking what they can give Cruz that would most please his voters. SC Justice is one thing. But that can’t be guaranteed and Cruz knows they’ll lie to him. But they can give him the vice president slot. Most of his supporters will say “We’ll take that because he can be president after ONLY 8 years.”
His voters will be irrelevant for their purposes which is to lose.
Even if they placated them, their numbers combined with the relatively low qty of est. voters would draw the same result we had with McCain or Romney.
Trump’s GOP voters plus his Indy and crossover Dems are what would bring this home. Trump will probably get his 1237, but if he goes to Cleveland close and is denied, his supporters are not going to forgive and forget, and they will not support Romney, Ryan or any other shill the GOP forces on them.
And congress will NEVER allow Cruz to wear a SCOTUS robe.
I said that Cruz would not believe them if they offer him the SC. I don’t think he would believe them.
Rest assured that a contested convention diminishes the chances for Trump to win in November.
Anyone else will have zero chance then.
Even discounting the millions of disenfranchised trump voters, understand that Cruz is absolutely loathed here in Florida.
Even I wouldn’t bother to vote and without Florida and Ohio Cruz doesn’t have a bats chance
Send Paul Ryan a post card saying NO TRUMP NO VOTE. Post card only - they will toss an envelope
