Amid criticism, Donald Trump doubles down on Wisconsin
The Journal Sentinel ^ | 4/3/16 | Mary Spicuzza

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is predicting Wisconsin's presidential primary will bring him a surprise victory despite polls showing him trailing Texas Sen. Ted Cruz here.

During a campaign stop at Miss Katie's Diner in Milwaukee, Trump said that Wisconsin "has the feel" of New Hampshire, where he pulled off a surprise win.

"This feels like a victory," he said.

Trump also slammed conservative talk show host Charlie Sykes as a "lowlife" and said establishment Republicans and Gov. Scott Walker were mobilizing against him here as political payback.

Who besides Trump has almost daily press conferences? This time while his eggs were getting cold. "The press doesn't care that my eggs are getting cold," Trump says in good humor.

I recall Obama sitting at a restaurant sniffing; “Can’t I just enjoy my Waffles?” In other words, F-off!
It’s not easy being that high profile.

If you watch the video, Trump’s comment was in good humor. Unlike Obama, Trump actually likes people.

I hope he is right.

A win in Wisconsin, even a close win would come close to delivering a TKO to the Cruz campaign.

Ted Cruz needs to, dump the girlfriends, apologize and reconcile to his wife and children, and go back to work in the Senate - in that order. This is not his year

Damn. I LOVE this "free speech" thing. We should try more of it.

I heard Trump’s interview with Sykes. Towards the end Sykes informed Trump that he was a #nevertrump guy, and asked if he (Trump) didn’t know that. I was waiting for Trump to say, “I never heard of you until this morning”, but he didn’t say it. Sykes actually seemed offended that Trump didn’t know he was a #nevertrump guy.

Interesting to read the comments at the end of the article. Several posters agree with the assessment of Charlie Sykes as being a lowlife.

Wisconsin is open Primary which should favor Trump.

The media doesn’t disclose that to thwart Trump winning as their polling is ‘likely’ Republican voters.

The Wisconsin open primary for Republicans ruins the media narrative Cruz is way ahead.

Cruz is generally a good guy and conservative. He stated he wants to win by getting the majority of delegates. Chances of that are very slim but he’s staying in the race. A fighter or a spoiler but I’m ok with either— just want Trump to win the delegate race so no hokey pokey brokered convention nonsense can be slung in Cleveland.

A “surprise” win by Donald J. Trump in Wisconsin this coming Tuesday would be a victory that changed the USA and the entire world for the better. Too bad the voters in Wisconsin don’t get it. They have their future in their votes...and they are about to hand off those votes to the very people that used and abused them for last 30 years or so....the Republican & Democrat Party Establishments!!!

Folks ya get what ya vote for. Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Rick Perry, Scott Walker, Paul Ryan, Carly Fiorina, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Glenn Beck, etc., are all laughing behind the closed doors of the smoked filled rooms....plotting the political death of Ted Cruz...while they take control of the POTUS nominee for one of their chosen own!!!

People in the great state fo Wisconsin....ya still have time to change your vote & vote for Donald J. Trump!!! GO DONALD TRUMP.....MAKR AMERICA GREAT AGAIN....put the American people back in charge of their government!!!

NE claims they’re going to publish an “indictment” on Cruz in their April issue regarding the sex scandal. Alas, that will be after Wisconsin.

Hope they reheated his breakfast dish. That was like a mini-rally speech over breaskfast. I couldn’t do it— I’d say get the he77 outta here and let me enjoy my breakfast. Come back later...

I hope Trump wins WI but I wouldn't categorize his NH victory as a "surprise win."

You are right though, Trump is always accessible to the media. Unlike his likely opponent on the other side who ropes them off like cattle. I bet Trump has more pressers in his first 100 days than Obama had in eight years.

Well, except for all the people he considers losers and lowlifes.
