Oh let’s go back to PC and be walked on by every minority and so fearful to stand up for ourselves lest we offend some delicate person. /s

Guess that works for you but not me.

Pat is like a bear who constantly predicts a stock crash month after month, year after year ... until the market does crach. Then he can say “See I told you so”.

In the 1980s, 1990s and until 2002 Pat was the ONLY conservative who go nativist/mationalist on immigration and trade. Conservative talk radio used to ridicule him contantly about his being the lone voice crying wolf.

Now 37% of Republicans/Conservatives are crying wolf and he can say “See I told you so”.

Going with the theme of what Trump has wrought - we all witnessed the way he was the first to introduce major rudeness and incivility into the debates.
.........................................................
Rudeness and “INCIVILITY” is what it takes to WIN WARS. America is fighting for its life and we do not need any more P.C. loonies or D.C. weasels and lawyer-lifetime politician wimps to lead us. We need Trump! So get on board the Trump train or get out of the way. America is coming back to greatness again. Go Trump!

I’m glad my parents aren’t here to see what the Republican party has become with the GOPe. It would have broken their hearts. My parents and grandparents voted Republican all their lives in an area of the country that’s been largely Democratic and it probably hurt them in their jobs and neighborhoods but they stuck with the Republican party out of conviction.

"What makes him think the Establishment is oppose to nationalism? "

Open Borders

H-1b

Endless foreign wars where we have no existential interest.

Freeloading NATO and Asian Allies

TPA/TPP

Ci could go on, but those are the big one's.

And, I am surprised the question was raised on the august forum.

Establishment cares about winning?? Make me laugh. Is that why they ran the feckless McCain and Romney? Didn’t seem they cared to win against Obama. Trump can win!

Yep and by May 1st it will be mathematically impossible for Cruz to win.

Good!

They deserved it.

I'm sick to death of "decorum" (phony political politeness)

Not big on history, eh?

If Thomas Jefferson becomes President “we may see our wives and daughters the victims of legal prostitution.” A Connecticut newspaper warned that his election would mean “murder, robbery, rape, adultery and incest will openly be taught and practiced”

"Yep and by May 1st it will be mathematically impossible for Cruz to win."

Cruz is not in the race for a first ballot win, as even he knows that's not possible for him.

He is playing for a 3rd ballot win against the wishes of a plurality of GOP primary voters.

And, to top it off, that hubris and ego actually believes the GOPe promises made to him.

He's too stupid and gullible to even be considered for the office.

Or, he's a fully pledged member of the GOPe.

Yes, we all must remain quite, polite and civil as we watch this steady decline as the yellow bile in D.C. gang bangs Middle America.

Pat's batting 1.000 so far this year, hit after hit.

I have read most if not all and I cannot disagree.

Theological technicalities aside, Trump believes in changing course when wrong and not pretending that a mistake was anything other than a mistake. That’s forgiveness driven from the God end of the relationship, which is arguably better than “God please forgive me because I earned it by going through this ritual.” The willingness to change course to obey the best revelation of truth available, is the key.

I see what you did there SlyFox. You are hinting that Trump is rude while not outwardly confronting the popular notion on this thread that Trump will be good for the country. Please enlighten us to which Trump policy positions that you think will cause trouble for America? Nobody cares if he is rude as long as he is honestly explaining his viewpoints, warts and all. America is sick to death of polite Kabuki theater because it just gives politicians a smoke screen to hide behind. The American Revolution and the Constitution were brought about by intellect and passion.

The founding generation argued vehemently about politics and the future. Politics were do hot that there were physical fights or outright duels. Give me someone like Trump any day over these bloodless, scripted, useless GOP politicians

Pat says Cruzers and Trumpsters have to unite.

Because Cruz is a sure loser. Buchanan said as much on the Hannity last week. Trump or lose. Those are the choices.

The hubris is Cruz trying to steal the nom from millions of Trump voters while calling his delegate confidence trick “the will of the voters”. Cruz is just as delusional as his followers it seems.

>>What makes him think the Establishment is oppose to nationalism?

The establishment of both parties are Transnationalist Progressives. Nationalism is their Kryptonite! They envision a future where labor is cheap, temporary, and global so they can shift their wealth around and use people as they see fit. They would be feudalists, but they don’t care enough for the people to act as masters. They believe that all us “little people” are expendable. Tranzis are the worst political ideologues ever.
