You forgot the most important point - It was Trump who brought up NY values in interview with Russell in 1999. You should listen to the video. Trump admitted the values. Second most important point - republicans in NY KNOW exactly what Cruz meant and agree with him. Third most important point - only registered republicans can vote in NY primary which means if dems, conservative party and all others would have had to have changed their affiliation on 10/9/15 to vote republican ballot.
Not saying Cruz will win NY but Trump is unlikely to get 50% even though he canceled CA and CO visits to try to ensure he does.

“My “single issue” is strict-constructionism, hence my choice is Cruz.”

You have to stop the femoral artery bleeding before you set the broken arm. The priority is Trump as President.
The best solution to our problem here is a Trump/Cruz ticket ..... 8yrs Trump, 8 yrs Cruz.

ill thought out ranting about hating New Yorkers. It’s the same kind of rant that someone would make about “Red Necks” in any southern state, ill advised and unacceptable.

that’s a legitimate point...

Sadly, many Americans form their concepts of New Yorkers from viewing TV shows like this and other Hollywierd concoctions.

Cruz will lose to Trump in the NYC. If he had said nothing it would not have mattered.

The statement is for the outstate voters. They can keep Cruz in the game or nearly so. They also have the same sentiment concerning NYC.

oh for Pete's sake come on

Cruz back in a debate accused Trump of having quote New York values... he use it in a negative context like the author pointed out...

people up there took it the same way as if Hillary made some snide remark about Ted Cruz having Southern redneck values

( truth before told if you get out of New York City into upstate New York its as rural and downhome as anywhere ...)

hen did Cruz “rant” about “hating” New Yorkers?

It's all they have. Really. Anyone who isn't kissing butt so hard their tongue is sitting on a beach in the Islands of Langerhans is a "hater".

Ted Cruz’s problem is that he comes across as “lying”, even in the rare instances, when he is telling the truth.

This guy is so phony, that the phony Ted, has become the only Ted.

Hearing Ted speak grates on my nerves almost as much as listening to Obama does and I refuse to even listen to Obama. I change stations or I turn the appliance off immediately to prevent regurgitation from occurring. It’s fast becoming the same way with Ted.

I wonder how many of these same posters would leap to defend ‘California values’.

If you take a shot at a state, dont be shocked when they give you the finger when you need their vote.

The faux outrage from Trumpsters on "New York Values" is hilarious. If Cruz came to California and railed against "Hollywood Values" we would support him with open arms. What real conservative wouldn't?

Trump has shown himself to be a true New Yorker - liberal, uptight, full of himself and with an air of superiority. Which is why the rest of the country can't stand New Yorkers. Especially republican New Yorkers who defend their liberalism.

Hmmm, liberal New Yorker or conservative Texan? Not a very tough choice in this election year.

yap yap yap lyin' yap yap yap lies yap yap yap.

People have been so conditioned by the twitterfeed "Lyin' Ted" BS, they believe it.

For some of us, it's just tedious dreck that indicates the rest of the statement has little worth, if any.

Near identical vanity rants on back-to-back days about the same issue make you look mentally unstable and intellectually limited to the point of mild retardation.

“The Cruz verbage is proof that Cruz will do or say anything true or untrue to gain power and control.”

LMAO, everyone knows it is true that New Yorkers are extremely liberal and lead the nation in every form of political lunacy.
