Oh, no! You mean there’s a chance that NY won’t vote Republican this year?

When did Cruz “rant” about “hating” New Yorkers?

The thing is, the rest of the country understands his reference. When you have the GOVERNOR of NY publically declaring that “anyone who is Pro-Life or he doesn’t support same sex marriage is not welcome in NY” you can see exactly what NY Values are.

That’s not what Cruz did. Cruz called Trump out for his assertion that his support for partial-birth abortion came from being a New Yorker. Of course, the comments were taken out of context by Trump and the media, and Cruz should have foreseen that happening.

Ted Cruz - my biggest disappointment since I began following politics. Worst election season ever, including 1968.

The Bitch waddles into the WH in 2017 & we are royally f***ed. It’s every man for himself.

Yea, can’t state your opposition to the pro-abortion, pro gay marriage, pro high tax, anti-religion, pro govt bailout crowd.....it might hurt you politically.

The problem is hypocrisy. Cruz had no trouble taking low interest bank loans from those striving to influence him. Cruz has no trouble with his wife working on his campaign finance while she's on leave (not resigned) from Goldman Sachs. Cruz has no trouble putting Neil Bush on his campaign staff, solidifying elitist backstabber alliances.

Now the media hopefully sees a way to destroy the Cruz campaign and destroy elitist control of the Republican Party. If there's a way to do it, it should be done.

I could swear I saw an equally stupid anti-Cruz vanity rant from you yesterday morning too.

This one is no better. 0/10, not even a good try.

Here is a clue, Cruz doesn’t need to win NY. And if your Trumpking doesn’t get to 50% a contested contention is almost a certainty (one in which Trump will lose to Cruz on the 2nd or 3rd ballot).

Well the good news for Cruz is that his "New York Values" comments, which for some reason he foolishly doubled down on while campaigning in New York, should only hurt him in that state and be forgotten the day after the New York Primary...

The bad news, it couldn't come at a worse time, right off his Wisconsin victory when it finally looked like he was getting some traction and might even have Trump on the ropes, he essentially just set Trump up for a huge victory and the momentum going into the other Northeastern states. While Cruz was never going to win New York, holding Trump to single digits or cutting into his delegates would have been viewed as victory.

Nice try!

I’ve been watching and listening for over a year and have yet to hear Cruz “rant”!

Check that: He was close to a rant when he called out Trump as a “sniveling coward” for Trump’s sleazeball re-tweet about Heidi Cruz...

I guess that episode was just The Donald displaying his “New York values”...

"..It's the same kind of rant that someone would make about "Red Necks" in any southern state, ill advised and unacceptable.."

The only rant I see here is yours, JLAGRAYFOX. With a good many of your "tRumpster-ettes" doing the same thing all over FReep, ad nauseum.

And there have always been redneck jokes. We have an unending supply of post cards, calenders, tourist trap-ware etc., etc. All making fun of our "reneckedness". Difference being we "country folk" have a sense of humor and are not so easily "offended".

So, Trump, who goes around picking fights with anyone and everyone who crosses him, bullies, intimidates, ridicules, alienates, uses profane language while campaigning, etc. is presidential material but Ted Cruz isn’t? Vote for Trump, the guy who supported Hillary Clinton, there’s the real conservative for you, pfft.

Cruz displayed astounding political ignorance by conflating liberal Democrat politicians, elected by the Manhattan elite, with “NY Values.” The two aren’t remotely similar as he will soon find out.

Cruz knew he wasn’t going to win New York in the Primary or the General. He said what he said for the rest of us out here who knew what he meant. He didn’t die politically. He didn’t stick his foot in his mouth.

Pure conservatism is not electable in America any more. Unless you have the right spokesperson to articulate those ideas.
Ted Cruz is 100 percent “NOT” that person!
