As we watch our nation becoming more and more divided, one troubling trend is accelerating with amazing speed: the increase in “-ist” accusations.
If you’re white, you’re automatically a racist. If you’re a man, you’re automatically sexist. If you’re a boss, you’re automatically an oppressive capitalist. If you live in Idaho, you’re automatically a white supremacist (trust me on this). And on and on it goes. Judgmental. Hater. Intolerant. Phobic. Did I miss anything?
Accusations of “-ist” became widespread because they were so effective. Ever try to engage a liberal in conversation? The moment – the moment! – you say something they don’t like, the accusations start. “Hater!”
How do you argue against that? Most people immediately move into defensive mode, sputtering denials the other party soaks up like water, causing their baseless accusations to bloom and flourish. “Hater! Racist pig! Sexist jerk!” And on and on it goes.

One of the main problems we have today is we are too damn sensitive. It’s time to not give one damn about what they think and just do what is right. It’s time to start calling the leftists what they are - pansies, freaks, weirdos, etc...that’s what they are. It’s time to grow some balls and raise ‘em to be men and stop the whining. It may take a generation to do it but it has to be done.
How about looking at “leftist intimidators” too and seeing if there is some way to relate to them that gets past the label pasting?
Pasting one more label is no way to get past label pasting.
I think we can calmly take the guilt bull by the horns.
Guilt has to relate to righteousness. Where is the righteousness that was lacking? Why would we call it righteousness.
Sometimes the picture is indistinct but it is hardly ever totally featureless. We can validly say one state of affairs is superior to another state of affairs.
But you know that “defeated people full stop” won’t stay that way, they will rise up over and over again, and then what have we done? We have drafted ourselves into becoming their perpetual prison keepers?
God himself frowns on this sort of reductionistic thought.
And then you have given them license by example to do the same, if you never rise above it.

Well I see your method of ignoring them is working out really well. No we need balls so I agree to disagree.

You agree to be wrong then. “Balls” proverbially put are only a medium. What shall they be a medium of?
“Better a racist than a moron!” is also an effective retort.
Might feel good, but goes nowhere.
Or you could just look at them and calmly ask with some derision in your voice, “so, what are you going to do about it?”
Then watch them either fly off the handle or withdraw because they can’t do a damn thing about it.
Well the current method is definitely NOT working so I disagree. Time to remove the kid gloves. It worked for thousands of years. Even the Bible agrees that children need to be disciplined.
Actually it does go somewhere. These people are bullies. They need a rhetorical jab in the nose to momentarily cut down their bully endorphin rush. If they pause and think, then perhaps reasoning with them becomes possible.
I find it interesting that you are protesting your very own rhetorical tactics, by the way.
Vigilance to protect our liberty against all comers.
One aspect of protecting liberty is educating those ignorant of it, to convert enemies into allies and reduce threats to that liberty.
Take courage, and do not let your enemies wear down your will to live as a free man. Live as you will and defy those who would have you bend your knee!

I lived in a northern state where physical assault and destruction of property is considered legitimate forms of political discourse. Yes, that would be Minnesota, the place where the Republican National Convention was held, The then mayor of Minneapolis, RT Rybak, spoke in support of the anarchists (communists), especially the “RNC Eight”, who conspired to set off incendiary devices in the presence of police officers during the mayhem of breaking windows, dropping sacks of concrete on delegate buses from overpasses, etc.
I have no sympathies for the SJW’s when the inevitable backlash hits them.
