Lyin' Donald: 101 Of Trump's Greatest Lies
The Daily News Wire ^ | 4/11/2016 | Hank Berrien

Posted on 04/11/2016 6:32:18 PM PDT by writer33

Donald Trump has repeatedly labeled his political opponents liars. He dubbed Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) Lyin' Ted when it became clear that Cruz was a serious rival for his nomination; he called Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) an "even bigger liar" than Cruz. He dubbed Dr. Ben Carson a "pathological liar" and said former Florida Governor Jeb Bush's lies were almost as bad as Cruz's. Trump has termed virtually every mildly adversarial media member a liar, too.

But there's only one truly massive liar in this race: Donald Trump. When Politico attempted to measure how many lies Trump told over the course of 4.6 hours of speeches, they found that he lied, on average, once every five minutes. When Huffington Post catalogued his lies over the course of just one town hall event, they came up with 71 lies.

Repeating the same message over and over again like Deceptive Donnie doesn’t make it so.

He’s hesitant on public land being taken care of by states? That’s an assinine reason not to vote for him...

If he gets the nomination I'll vote for him, but I don't have any expectations he's going to be able to "fix" Washington, and I'm skeptical that the States will be able to rely on him for help doing it. Corporations and republics are very different things.

So uhmm... (Reply to 73 too lazy to quote...)

I’m not clear who you are rooting for since you seem to be pretty constitutional. I’ll have to assume you are a kasich fan no?

I only say that as you couldn’t possibly be both a strict constitutionalist as well as a Cruz supporter considering his Canadian unnatural birth...

Try again man.

Wow, what stretching. Some guy just deems that everything Trump says is a lie, and presto! changeo! it becomes lies.

The unemployment numbers actually are cooked. Since real unemployment contains people that do not get counted by the normal mechanism, how much higher the unemployment rate is than the official story really depends on the assumptions that go into the calculations. That reporter did actually all but assault Trump (and has a history of pretending to be attacked so as to generate news)—and really did tone down the story when she found out it was filmed. There actually is a deficit in WI, and quoting a prediction of a situation 2 years in the future hardly refutes that.

And so on. I am reminded of when the media kept repeating the mantra that Bush lied, over and over, and actually convinced people of it—even though they never produced a single lie that Bush had allegedly uttered.

You Cruzites still don’t get it, do you? Right now the media/political cabal is set on taking down Trump, because he presents a real threat to the establishment. Right now, Cruz serves their purpose. If, God forbid, they should be successful, they will turn on Cruz—and probably even more viciously than Trump. The same media that covered up bimbo eruptions on Clinton’s behalf won’t do the same for a guy who tries to pass himself off as a conservative.

Lying tRump:

4. February 28, with Chris Wallace: Trump claimed that “many of” the university’s instructors were “handpicked” by him. That’s not true. In a 2012 deposition, a top executive for Trump University said that “none of our instructors” was picked by Trump himself.

But it works though, otherwise you wouldn't have responded.

Trump may do some general housecleaning, but he already gave in to the dark side when he promised the voters in Iowa he'd keep the EPA around to keep forcing the rest of us to buy their ethanol.
