It’s rare that we get to peak behind the curtain of these guys’ real intentions. Nationalism is the dirtiest of dirty words to these folks. And the wisdom of the average American voter is not to be venerated and respected, but ridiculed and suppressed.

Thank you. It appears they have confused anti-establishment with ‘toting the party line’. Boehner was a perfect example of what was wrong with the Republican Party. It appears they just want to keep going down that road. This imaginary fear of ‘dictatorship’ has really got some in a frenzy. It’ has become irrational. Of all the things that I didn’t like about Trump, that one was never an issue. For goodness sakes, if everyone in congress knew how to do their job, this would never be an idea. The faults lies with the pansies who are more concerned with party lines than voting for policies that make sense and are constitutional.
I’d like to see a few more of these multi-national politicians suffer the same fate as my former Rep. Eric Cantor.

I’m inclined to believe these globalist politicians act purely on “orders” from those who fund their continued “feed at the trough”. These donors advance globalist causes. IMO

For those who are awake and vigilant, yes. Most citizens may not be aware or interested, sadly.
Prior to recent history, most of us “interested” people had not yet put it together. I suspect there is so much more of which we are yet unaware.

When I was a kid and teen, I thought Walter Cronkite was an honest, thoughtful, American Patriot.
Eventually I grew out of it.

I believe you are correct. Behind the scenes are pushing for Globalism. No doubt.
I had noticed when listening to political discussions on television that whenever the words “nationalism” or “populism” were spoken the talking heads would acted as if they were curse words. This struck me as something that was really odd. Now I know what that was really about. These two terms speak of the will of the people and they are really afraid of us in case we should slip our leashes and seek our own way.
I look back with some nostalgia on my teenage and childhood days and the innocent view that I had of America. I have seen since then that there are many people in power who are not really nice people, they lie and deceive us and this was the way that they kept their power over us for a long time. I don’t like many of the things that I see now but I am seeing the truth even if it is not pretty. One thing for sure, even when seeing all the muck in our government it certainly gives me much more respect for our Founding Fathers who understood that some day we would encounter these problems and that we would need the Constitution. I feel that what we are going through today is like another 1776, we are going through our own American Revolution in our own way.
WE have to help people around us to accept the ugly realities of what America has become without wanting to slice their wrists. We have to show them reality while giving them hope.
