Allen West explains why he 'can't thank' FBI 'enough' for not recommending charges against Clinton
Business Insider via AOL ^ | July 6, 2016 | Oliver Darcy

Former Florida Congressman Allen West wrote in a blog post Wednesday that he was "delighted" the FBI will not recommend charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email system as secretary of state.

"I can't thank Director [James] Comey enough for coming to this decision," West wrote.

The conservative firebrand said he "always" had "concern" President Barack Obama would "release the hounds" on Clinton in an effort to replace her as the presumptive Democratic nominee with Vice President Joe Biden.

Biden, West contended, would have been far more difficult for Donald Trump to defeat in November.

"That would be a really tough ticket to beat, since Joe Biden's favorables, regardless of gaffes and such, are extremely high," West wrote.

West wrote that Comey had instead opted to leave Clinton in the race as a significantly damaged candidate — a "gift wrapped with a bow" to Republicans.

Rare for a conservative to win state offices? Are you saying up north or in general? I know there are stats to prove you are incorrect in that assessment. What we did in 2010/2012/2014 was great. Not that some of them haven’t turned out to be complete jackwagons, but they do get elected.

I did see you quote on another thread that there were 60 killed in Chicago this past week. Umm, no. I believe the number is 60 shot, 4 dead. Just so you know, thanks

Who are these strange women you listen to?

I am a female as are my sisters/aunts/cousins/friends and we ALL voted for Trump and none of us voted for that strange demon currently posing as our leader.

Pretty broad brush you’re using there.

Sure hope you’re right about Comey outflanking DOJ. Who’s going to summon him before Congress so he can sing like a canary?

100% right. Biden would be twice the opponent that Hillary will. People like Biden.

And, Hillary can still be indicted. Its 10 months, folks. Trump’s AG can revisit it, or appoint a special prosecutor. He probably won’t, but could.

the Treasury should be refilled,
public debt should be reduced,
the arrogance of officialdom
should be tempered and controlled,
and the assistance to foreign lands
should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt.
People must again learn to work,
instead of living on public assistance.”

That is a side of this I had not considered. Could this whole thing be a stratagem by Comey to get the information out to the public?

If he was looking at the long game, keeping Hillary out of the White House, this could be a possibility. But has Comey ever been this political in his career?

I couldn’t live with somebody like that.

“Bill Clinton overhauled the system and security clearances are now the exclusive domain of the president.”

Now? Even in a post-9/11 U.S.? That’s incredible!

Disagree. Spin anyway you can, justice was not served. The rule of law only applies to the people, not the rulers. I see no pony in this manure pile.

Where have you been. Justice is gone in Obama’s America. The only chance we have is to beat Hillary. Then we can bring back Justice.

The FBI cannot indict anybody. All they can do is send a referral up and it is the discretion of the prosecutors to bring charges.

I am beginning to think that Comey’s public submittal was far more damaging that just a referral whose details would have been kept under seal, guaranteed. The AG could have just had her statement to say that the prosecutors decided . . . . . Comey saw this coming after the tarmac visit and her subsequent statements and laid out the evidence before making his announcement of no referral because he knew it would have never been approved to move forward with a prosecution.

Ask yourself, would we have ever known the details of a referral? Right now it is all conjecture but Catherine Herridge had an interesting take while she was right there in the front row. She thought he was sullen from his typical self and was even considering that he may just resign soon because his decision on its face was just not the guy she had come to know.

Who knows, maybe today he does his little thing with the Congress hearings and then lays it all out as to why he did what he did that everyone agrees makes absolutely no sense to lay out a multi-point indictment and then let her off. Maybe the man figured the only way to nail the bitch was to do it in the court of public opinion, where it does her the most damage. Remember, the Crime Family Foundation is still under investigation. Maybe he will pull the same thing.

This has been the worst 8 years of all patriotic Americans lives. I'm 67 and have NEVER EVER seen such a horrible time. Not under Jimmy Carter.....not under Bill Clinton....not under LBJ. Horrible presidents all, but nothing is so Unamerican as the Marxist/Islamics regime of Barack Hussein Obama. And in the last days of his regime he is letting loose all the dogs.

You are correct. The nomination would rightfully have been Bernie’s if Crooked Hillary had to drop out. Otherwise chaos would have resulted. Bernie went through the process and kept it a fairly close race right to the end. He gave The Crooked One a much tougher fight than Cruz gave Trump.

Biden worked on his tan.

Obama would have pardoned her. Now she can be prosecuted at a later time if those emails happen to show up like the billing records did.
