Former Florida Congressman Allen West wrote in a blog post Wednesday that he was "delighted" the FBI will not recommend charges against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email system as secretary of state.
"I can't thank Director [James] Comey enough for coming to this decision," West wrote.
The conservative firebrand said he "always" had "concern" President Barack Obama would "release the hounds" on Clinton in an effort to replace her as the presumptive Democratic nominee with Vice President Joe Biden.
Biden, West contended, would have been far more difficult for Donald Trump to defeat in November.
"That would be a really tough ticket to beat, since Joe Biden's favorables, regardless of gaffes and such, are extremely high," West wrote.
West wrote that Comey had instead opted to leave Clinton in the race as a significantly damaged candidate — a "gift wrapped with a bow" to Republicans.

Obviously, Col. West is overlooking the certain fact that Obunga CAN’T throw Hillary under the bus. The Clintons have a dossier on Obunga that could give him “life” in Leavenworth at the least; or hanging at the worst.....for him, that is.

I’ve just lost all respect for Allen West. He appears glad that laws were not enforced on Hillary. He sees a political expediency to keep Hillary in the running rather than a (stronger) Biden.
You, Allen West, had aspired to be our president, who must stand to enforce the rule of law in this country.

Well, that is certainly a more optimistic take on the situation than I took from it.
I had thought that Comey’s actions were a result of his decision to avoid committing suicide and being dumped in Fort Marcy Park. Lynch’s meeting with Bill Clinton was almost certainly to discuss such possibilities.

These last 8 years have simply demonstrated that the country of 25 years ago is gone; with each passing day more vestiges of it are wiped away. When you understand that the Democrats and the Republican party share the same goals (The Republican party is the WASHINGTON SENATORS to the Democrat GLOBETROTTERS)it all becomes clear.
How else can it be explained why the Republicans are so ineffective even when given a majority in both houses and the Presidency?

We will see how much information Comey divulges before Congress. IMO Comey will minimize what Hillary did to defend his actions. He will provide quotes that the Dems will use to defend Hillary. And the Dems on the committee will ensure that the hearing appears to be a partisan witch hunt.
The Reps always screw up at these critical hearings failing to ask the right questions and overplaying their hand. Comey and the Dems will make them look like fools.
If Comey had any integrity, he would have resigned after the Lynch-Clinton meeting. Comey and the FBI failed the acid test. They have shown the extent of rot and corruption at the highest levels of government, including the career bureaucracy. You can’t put any lipstick on this pig.

Re the alleged investigation of the Clinton Foundation, I have seen nothing to indicate that the FBI is doing one. You know Comey will not confirm such an investigation is ongoing. And given Comey’s demonstrated reluctance to influence the Presidential campaign, nothing will happen regardless until after November.
You can rationalize and excuse Comey’sactions all you want. The truth is that he caved under political pressure and failed to do his job. It is a disgrace.

It is easier to hang a white male out to dry, rather than a black female. Comey will be brought before Congress and he’ll take responsibility for a decision that he parroted but which obviously did not originate in him.
He’s just following orders, but the matter calls for a scapegoat and nobody wants to commit a high-tech Lynching on a black Democrat.
Either way he went on the Clinton culpability, his job would be lost, but I suppose he has chosen the way that saves his pension.
