Instead, Obama has ignored the people of Iran, a population friendly to the United States and its ideals. His administration even declared the 2009 Green Movement - a popular protest against a probably-rigged presidential election - an internal affair of Iran that warranted no American input. He has failed to do anything for the Iranians, and has even tacitly betrayed them by negotiating with and legitimizing their theocratic government. The catastrophic nuclear deal with the rulers of Iran represented the latest in Obama's long series of failures in relation to the country. While it is true that the economic sanctions which that treaty removed were never the answer, as they did more to harm the people of Iran than their rulers, the deal opens the way for Iran's reigning theocrats to gain access to nuclear weapons, a true disaster if and when the day should come.
Because of Obama's proven incompetence in dealing with Iran, the progress of Iran's people has been delayed indefinitely. This is truly unfortunate, not only for Iranians themselves, but for everyone in the Middle East and around the world who wishes to live free of the religious dictatorship of ISIS. A free Iran could have done much against that evil caliphate, providing the United States with a sympathetic ally in the region. As it stands, it is unclear whether the US will ever make headway against ISIS, and while the Iranian people will never be denied, their quest for freedom will be a longer, harder one, thanks to President Obama.

Millions of Iranians were in the streets protesting the despotic regime in Iran back in what was called The Arab Spring.
Obama used the unrest to install the Muslim Brotherhood (Demanded by his puppet master Valerie Jarrett, MoBro top tier member) in as many ME states as possible.
He didn’t bother with Iran because they already were even worse than the Muslim Brotherhood.
Benghazi was crutial in the intallation of Islamic terror supporting MB as it was a conduit for supplying high power munitions to terror groups.

The Iranian people’s freedom quest is a) up to them, not up to us; and b) raises the inevitable question when dealing with Muslims, “freedom to do what?”
