A few months after Hillary Clinton took over as U.S. secretary of state in 2009, a longtime associate with connections to the Clinton Foundation insisted that her senior aides give a job to an unidentified male associate.
Important to take care of [name redacted], Douglas Band, President Bill Clintons former right-hand man, wrote to Clinton aides Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills, and Nora Toiv in an April 22, 2009, email.
We have all had him on our radar, Abedin responded. Personnel has been sending him options.
The subject line on the email read A favor
The email exchanged was uncovered by government watchdog group Judicial Watch, and was the result of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. Its the latest example of the kind of cronyism that was rife at the State Department under Hillary Clintons watch.
Band served as a top aide to former President Bill Clinton and assisted in creating the Clinton Global Initiative. He is also a founding partner of Teneo, a global consulting firm that obtained approval from the State Department for a paid consulting arrangement between Bill Clinton and Band.
Teneo is the same firm where Mrs. Clinton longtime right-hand woman Huma Abedin worked as a senior adviser. Abedin was advising Teneo while working as a senior Clinton aide at the State Department.
While she was secretary of state, Hillary Clinton also handpicked Teneo co-founder and CEO Declan Kelly as her economic envoy to Northern Ireland.
In a separate email exchange, Band emailed Abedin and Mills requesting help connecting Clinton Foundation mega-donor Gilbert Chagoury with the State Departments substance person on Lebanon affairs. Abedin later promised to contact the substance person about the request.
This is very important, Band replied, noting the urgency of the request.

And in the MSM: Crickets over run with the chant that Trump is now calling for a 2A take out of Clinton.
Isn’t this how the game has always been played?
The FBI director needs to does his freaking job and seek a criminal indictment against Clintons and their pack of rat enablers.
The FBI director needs to do his freaking job and seek a criminal indictment against Clintons and their pack of rat enablers.
A microcosm of how our government works. Who in their right mind gives money to a candidate without expectation of favors?
Just imagine what’s in the 30K she had “wiped”.
This was one of the ones she wiped..
I agree but the path to an indictment must go through the DOJ and whom heads that up? A special prosecutor would already have had at least five indictments on this cast of characters and would be looking for individuals to man the firing squad.
Sad but true. And with Idiocracy in full bloom (after 50 years of government-run skools), the low-information voters probably assume this is the new normal.
Yup - so you can imagine what a cesspool of corruption the rest of them are.

Yes...nothing new here. It always stinks, but taking care of family, friends, and connections is SOP in politics. It’s so common and ancient that a word was created for it.
Sadly, not much will come of this. Sure, it’s full-scale bribery, and she needs to be in jail, but the only thing that matters now is that Trump is a very bad man and Hillary can become the first woman president. The NY Times is reporting this in very bland terms...”renewed questions” about an “overlap” between the foundation and the State Dept. That’s it. Now on to the next Trump hit piece.
The media is complicit in the ongoing destruction of the United States, and it’s sad to see it unfold.
