Yes but Gov McDonald of VA got convicted for less.

If ithe name of the beneficiary is known (wiki leaks?) and it could be shown the action got enacted after the emails were sent, that is the end of Hillary’s political lcareer (at a minimum) - in even a half-sane country.

With one important distinction... The Clinton Foundation is not a campaign or PAC, so is not bound by campaign finance law... it is essentially being used as a money laundering apparatus.

OK, so is the FBI on this case or are we just blowing smoke up each others butt on this issue like all the other Clinton activities?

Speaking of convictions for less, Jim Wright resigned as Speaker in 1989 for this...

On May 31, 1989, James C. Wright became the first Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives to resign from office because of scandal. Meanwhile, every one of her “speaking fees” exceeded the total amount Wright received. She and her stinking husband collected billions through their fraudulent “charity.”

The unravelling of the Texas Democrat’s 34-year congressional career began with a year-long House ethics committee investigation of his finances, which resulted in a finding that Wright might have violated House rules in 69 instances. The charges centered around $145,000 in possibly improper gifts Wright and his wife had received from a Fort Worth developer, and the profits from a collection of Wright’s speeches that allegedly were sold in bulk in lieu of speaking fees that were limited by House rules.
