Its around $2 for a small (which I believe is a ‘tall’ in their lingo). Somebody gave me a gift card once, and I ventured in a few times to spend it. I suppose that isn’t much more than McDonalds, etc. Honestly, the coffee isn’t really that good though.

Starbucks smallest coffee size which they refer to as “tall” is 1.85 for plain fresh brewed coffee which I think they used to call Americano

The rest is basically dairy or flavoring infused dessert or treat coffee which young people in particular have appropriated as their standard in place of just a basic cup of joe

And that is expensive....someone who drinks two big fancy lattes or frappacinos or macchiatos a day like my little brother....will spend nearly 450-500/month at Starbucks

A car payment

To me it’s a pretentious indulgence

It’s also a meeting place for like minded mostly left wing people

The food is decent to be honest but again not cheap...

It could be free, I would not drink it. I overheard people that bought saying it cost around 5 dollars a cup.
