Too bad I never buy pretentious overpriced burnt coffee.
Otherwise I’d boycott them.
This does it, I guess. I was vacillating, but when the CEO of Starbucks speaks, I listen. It’s going to be Hillary for me.
I am so glad he helped me in this tough decision.
Who drinks that overpriced poser juice?
I never understood why so many people complain that Starbucks coffee is "burnt". To me, the coffee is simply very strong and black. For all the folks that complained about "burnt coffee", Starbucks brought out "blonde" coffee beans. This for the people that like weak coffee that thinks it's tea; the same sort of people that drink Michelob Ultra in place of beer.
I love Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I have learned to make them myself! No Starbucks for me. Anyone else who wants to keep away from Starbucks but loves that drink, here’s how:
14 oz can of pumpkin, 1/2 c sugar, 1 T vanilla, 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Stir it all up. Freeze in ice cube trays.
When you want the PSL, take a cube or two (depending on the size of the drink you want to make) and microwave 20 seconds to thaw. Heat milk then wish the milk and pumpkin in your cup until desired frothiness. Add expresso or strong coffee. Whipped cream optional. (OK, not really. I NEED that whipped cream on that drink!)
Now don’t drive through that Starbucks again for your PSL. Make it and save money AND don’t support this Hillary supporter.
A few years ago, Schultz acted as a bagman for obama by placing jars in the Starbucks stores asking for $5 donations to help create jobs. One day they were no longer there. Anyone know what he did with the money? I have my own theory, based on the apparent lack of any accounting for it.
I’ve averaged getting a cup of plain black Starbucks coffee
about once every SEVERAL YEARS. I do like it; but my
boycotting Starbucks wouldn’t figure much to them.
(However, I will OBVIOUSLY live without the stuff.)
It’s ignorant of a company’s officer to alienate a large
portion of his clientele.
Me too.
