Too bad I never buy pretentious overpriced burnt coffee. Otherwise I’d boycott them.

I never understood why so many people complain that Starbucks coffee is "burnt". To me, the coffee is simply very strong and black. For all the folks that complained about "burnt coffee", Starbucks brought out "blonde" coffee beans. This for the people that like weak coffee that thinks it's tea; the same sort of people that drink Michelob Ultra in place of beer.

It tastes over-roasted to me.

Apparently a lot of people agree that it tastes burnt to them as well.

Give me a medium roast Papua New Guinea any day.

YMMV, ‘In maters of taste, there is no right or wrong.’

But do feel free to choose to put money in the pocket of an avowed Hillary!™ supporter, rather than a local mom & pop...

I like strong coffee and drink it black...it must be that on the rare occasion I have entered a Starbucks, it was not a busy time, because the coffee tasted like it had been burning for hours. I think they just don’t ever throw the coffee out when the crowd dies down. But it definitely is ‘burnt’ sometimes. Reminds me of the stuff we had in the army.
