Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh fired back at Iran on Tuesday in a growing war of words over the Hajj pilgrimage, saying Iranians were “not Muslims," as the country's armed forces put on a show of force with a military parade.
In comments made to Saudi media, Sheikh said that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Iranian government were “enemies of Islam and doctrine, and descendants of the majoos,” using the pejorative term for pre-Islamic Iranians who believed in fire worship.

Ha ha, keep the Iranians away from Mecca, I’m fine with it! Let their Shiite leaders take the embarrassment of being unable to get their Haj pilgrims to Mecca.
Anytime they want to have that Sunni-Shiite death match, we should sit back and watch.

In the Vietnam war we seeded the enemy’s supplies with hot, exploding AK-47 rounds.
We were very careful to package them correctly, and the enemy never knew if their rifle was going to explode.

As a Freeper wit said some time ago...Sunni or later Shiite is gonna happen.
I read a book about that - Special Ops guys who would find supply points on the HCM Trail, or plant it on a dead NVA, knowing they salvaged everything - clothes, shoes, ammo, etc... from their own dead. The average NVA didn't trust Chinese rifles or ammo, or rice, so spiking those just sowed dissent. Cool stuff.
It WAS cool stuff. It seeded doubt in the enemy.

Zoroastrians do not worship fire, any more than Christians worship wood when we pray in front of a cross. To a Zoroastrian, fire is a symbol for God.
The problem with that is the Saudis have bought and own enough of our politicians at the federal level that we'll very quickly be pulled into any Sunni-Shiite death match.
