(Vanity) Curious..Mark Levin yesterday back to TDS ranting?

Posted on 09/13/2016 7:12:28 AM PDT by pburgh01

Listening to Levin yesterday 9/12/2015. thought would give him another chance now that he seemed to be regaining sanity. Was I wrong. Spent 2 to 1 time spewing purist philosophical drivel and TDS hatred. Curious that when Hillary's neck is on the block and Trump ready to strike the Coup De Grace,.. Levin would rally his TDS Cruzbot troops for one more Battle of Bulge.

Thoughts?

I head it and you're 100% correct.

While he didn't attack Trump directly, he left NO DOUBT that he abhors all his policies and methods.

Conservative Orthodoxy is foaming at the mouth with hatred for Trump.

I liked Perot’s idea of a trade agreement. “The deal you get is the deal we will take for ourselves.”

The U.S. shouldn’t receive the adverse position on all trade agreements.

Newt has been the most intelligent defender of Trump. Odd comment for you to make.

I stopped listening to Mark at the end of 2015 when he turned against Trump nightly.

Something I noticed when he was interviewing candidates on his show was he would feed them a question/statement and Trump usually said something like, "no, Mark, this is where I stand on this subject" and Jindal and Cruz would answer "Exactly, Mark." They were the words both of them used, Exactly Mark.

That was before I knew about the fiance's ties to Cruz (I didn't even know his wife was gone although I did wonder why her pictures disappeared from his website (with the dogs).

What’s his problem now? Trump has been a model candidate lately! ;-)

“I am certain that we will win without them.”

Is that a challenge? Because I have been frustrated that people wouldn’t vote for Trump to avoid Hillary at all cost. But maybe I am wrong. Maybe, as a Cruz supporter, I should allow your theory to play out. It is the same as SOME in evangelical Christian thought that not voting is merely leaving the outcome to God. Is that what you suggest? You don’t need our stinkin’ vote?

I’ve never gotten Levin’s appeal. I did read one of his books (Liberty and Tyranny) because someone gave it to me. It was a clear and concise statement of what conservatism is about. But on the radio, Levin has always come off as a depressed whiner who yells too much. To each his own, I guess.

Tuned in briefly and heard the same idiotic histrionics. Levin can’t make sense of trade balance and surmises it’s “stupid.”

The big dope is a waste of precious AM radio space. 770 AM New York is essentially dead air from 6-9 PM. And I’m the bigger dope for thinking he’ll eventually grow up.

I am certain we will win without them too. They have loud mouths, but their numbers are very small, as Trump’s cumulative votes and rally attendance has proven. This isn’t the time to play games and beg these sore losers for their precious little votes. They need to disavow the error of their Hillary supporting ways.

I’m a Cruz guy. My two top picks were always Cruz at #1, and Trump at #2. I didn’t have a #3, I didn’t trust anyone else running to actually do what they said they would do.

So when Cruz and Trump were the last two men standing, I was happy, I knew at that point that one of the two would be the nominee. And when it turned out to be Trump, I had no problem supporting him. My only disappointment was that the bad blood between the two prevented them from joining forces on the same ticket.

I never listened to much of the mud-throwing in either direction, which is why I had no problem letting it go. I always said, almost none of the mud thrown at Cruz is true. Almost all of the mud thrown at Trump is true... and he is still the best man running. If I didn’t trust him on everything, I absolutely trusted him on national sovereignty issues. Which, this election season, is the existential life or death issue of our time.

The interesting thing about Trump is that as time goes along, and he starts to realize this thing is actually going to happen, he gets more and more serious and firm. Areas where he was once squishy he has firmed up nicely and in the right direction. He doesn’t back down. And he fights. I already liked him, and as time goes on I like him more and more. And more importantly I trust him more and more.

I hear a lot of Levin-bashing and even Limbaugh bashing, because supposedly they aren’t pro-Trump enough. That’s not what I hear from them, though, I hear them continuously attacking Hillary and pretty continuously defending Trump.

Mark, giving aid and comfort to the enemy is unacceptable. That Hillary ad featuring prominent GOPe statements is disgusting. Will you be starring in one soon? That should trouble you greatly.

He’s a Lincoln worshipping constitutionalist

The opposite of a non Lincoln worshipping constitutionalist

He like many beltway types gives great heft to a preoccupation with bigotry

It’s like a prism to view life through

Which is why he gets on with uber nut Beck

The issue with Levin is also immaturity. He was in the Reagan Admin at a young age, and he always has to think he’s right.

Your were a nasty Trump basher....so what is it this month?

Do you own your past or not?

And the fact you dismiss Levins Trump Derangement Syndrome raises same questions your many howls here did

Conservatism is about honesty and owning it....
