Read her book “A Choice Not an Echo.” the book was published at the same time that Ronald Reagan was thinking about running for governor in California. Phyllis Schafly can be considered to be the founder of the modern conservative movement.

Did she shun the spotlight starting in the 80s? Never remember her mentioned on TV or anything.
