(TWITTER) Insider Says GOP Coup Attempt Thwarted
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMhsMjQQzqY ^

@JackPosobiec SCOOP: The DC Beltway is livid at Trump today. House staffers are telling me they all actually thought Trump would drop out this weekend

RNC leaders were telling members that after the tape leaked that Trump would drop out so they all needed to unendorse him first

So now its chaos, members were told Trump was dropping and Pence was taking over so that's why so many publicly attacked Trump

But now Trump is staying in, and after his strong debate performance and solid support levels they are worried they just screwed themselves

The establishment plan was Pence would take the top of the ticket, lose, and then run Ryan-Rubio 2020. But Trump thwarted the coup attempt

"RNC leaders were telling members that after the tape leaked that Trump would drop out so they all needed to unendorse him first"

What kind of reasoning is this? With all due respect to the Keystone Kops, the Kops are truly running the country.

Yeh....and both Ryan and Rubio were demolished early on by Trump

Didn't they consider that Ryan-Rubio would both be defeated in the primaries again...?

The GOPe have lost their collective marbles.

"The GOP establishment plan was dump Trump, Pence take the top of the ticket, lose........then run Ryan-Rubio 2020."

It's next to impossible to believe this flop Ryan could actually be a plausible presidential candidate.

That Ryan himself might harbor presidential thoughts has to be the biggest laugh of the day.

Ryans presidential aspirations are over. He’s a 3-legged mule.

2-legged. He has no middle leg.

There’s a revolution going on amongst the American people. Trump is merely the public face of a much deeper, wider change in the people. He’s succeeding because he alone tapped into the bulging volcano of anger and frustration the people feel towards their government.

We all at the cusp of history.

What we have is a giant Tsunami caused by the re-allignment of the Tectonic plates of the body politic that will sweep away half a century of progressive policy.

I believe that had Trump dropped out Billy Bush would have been given a ticker tape parade down New York . . . but it did not accomplish what I believe he promised it was - and now he is on the outside looking in.

God moves in strange ways. What are the odds that a businessman with no political experience and despised within his own party could win the nomination, trail in most national polls during the general and then explode at the end to take the presidency?

Trump is smart.....think about it...he has an interest in 700 or so businesses world wide....with half in USA.

That's "real world" experience.....and the congress critters...not so much.

Any politician who believed that Trump would drop out isn’t much of a politician and hasn’t been paying attention for the last 15 months.

You state: “I no longer wonder why we are where we are as a country, when so many have never, before this election, bothered to participate in determining their own fate.”

The fact is very simple: There never was anyone to vote for.

For the first time in my lifetime (and I’m 70) we actually have an INDIVIDUAL (not some face in the party) who will stand for what we want in our government. Before today we had no choice other than vote for one party or another but this is one of the few times in history that we can actually vote for a possible savior for our way of life, freedoms and country.

I do not think the phrase 'drop out', reflects what was attempted... They tried to 'force him out'. Lying Ryan has acted like a smug punk this whole election cycle... Remember his snark that Trump would not get a 'blank check'? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/paul-ryan-donald-trump-blank-check-endorsement_us_5762fc28e4b0df4d586f9973

It’s time to start filling Rush’s mailbox up demanding that he talk about the failed coup. Here’s his chance to be relevant again.

Yes Pence would lose.
But I already voted for President Trump and Vice President Pence...
And I'm not going to allow them to nullify my vote.

If and when Mike Pence wants to be President, he can fight like Trump did in the primaries.

I'm glad the big light is shining on the rats in the republican party.
I won't forget them.

Especially paul ryan and mitt romney.

OK, I ask the question: Do you wish to chop off your finger or foot? Or, would you rather not do so?

My answer is that I would not rather chop off either and seek another choice. Your answer is that you definitely would chop one of them off.

I’ve held my nose and voted in the past and each time I direly regretted it for my vote was wasted on the candidate simply because he was absorbed by the party “go along to get along culture” and ended up furthering the destruction of our freedoms and rights. It has now reached the point of “critical mass” and this is our last chance to save our way of life.

Go ahead and blindly cast a vote for the party and not the candidate and continue the slide of America into history.

You fail to realize that the “people” don’t control the party...MONEY and SPECIAL INTERESTS controls the party.

Do these “insiders” truly believe that if Trump dropped out the media would give their blessing to Pence?

They would be digging up dirt on him faster than a cat trying to bury a turd.

Time to build gallows for these lame f###s.

I don’t a POTUS candidate has ever had the deck so stacked against him as Trump has. Even if he loses, we now know just how deep the corruption in this country has gone.

I gave up on Rush in 2012. His 2011, Supping with Chuck U Schumer and Weasel Graham, with the Murdock/Ailes of Foxes to sell 'amnesty' was kept secret... Even with the 'secret' I knew his worm had turned in early 2012.. Rush is part of the GOP establishment, he is friends with them and parties with them. NO way will he change his way of life. Rush would make more dollars bitching about Hillry the next four years, than to actually changing the political sewer.

I’ve never seen a more pathetic political party than today’s GOP. Absolutely pathetic.
