The election of Donald Trump as president is a bitter pill to swallow for millions of Americans — and some are backing a quixotic campaign to reverse that outcome.
As of Friday afternoon, more than 2.4 million people had signed a petition to the U.S. Electoral College, urging its members to ignore their states’ votes and cast their ballots for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
“Mr. Trump is unfit to serve. His scapegoating of so many Americans, and his impulsivity, bullying, lying, admitted history of sexual assault, and utter lack of experience make him a danger to the Republic,” wrote Elijah Berg, who launched the petition on Change.org.
Berg, of North Carolina, argued that the Electoral College can award the White House to either candidate and should use its own “most undemocratic” institution to ensure a “democratic result.”
Berg continued: “24 states bind electors. If electors vote against their party, they usually pay a fine. And people get mad. But they can vote however they want and there is no legal means to stop them in most states.”

I’m guessing that if they remove the estimated 640,000 illegals that voted, or voted illegally, Clinton will be in the hole on popular vote.

As it happens, there is a process for getting rid of the Electoral College system, a process which has been tried many times in the past, but which failed every time it's been tried. It's called a constitutional amendment. Needless to say, these 'Rats have no concept of the content and history of the Constitution nor do they have any interest in abiding by it, unless it suits their ends.
As for Trump favoring the abolition of the Electoral system in 2012, no surprise that he was a Democrat then.

IIRC, Hitlery herself was calling for an end to the EC years ago; long before 11/08/2016.
Also, I’ve seen 2 estimates that calculate that up to 1.5 MILLION illegal votes (illegals, dead people, people voting in more than 1 state, etc.) were counted. Subtract those out and The Don crushes her.
And, let’s see what the final numbers are once every state has been officially called, absentee ballots, provisional ballots, etc. are added up.
Put it this way: The Don doesn’t want to leave “them” anything, real or imagined, that they can use against him or his agenda.

This is my very concern. Hillary, Obama, et. al., have been flamboyantly saying we should be unified, but my concern is that behind the scenes they know and support the Soros gangsters. A Trump rep called on Hillary and Obama to denounce the rioters. To my knowledge they haven’t done that.
We just had an official petition on Tuesday. If these idiots want to do away with the Electoral College let them try to amend The Constitution. I think it’s madness personally, as California and New York will elect every president in the future.
