PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD J. TRUMP ANNOUNCES SENIOR WHITE HOUSE LEADERSHIP TEAM
TRUMP FOR AMERICA, INC. US14.CAMPAIGN-ARCHIVE1.COM ^ | SENIOR WHITE HOUSE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Posted on 11/13/2016 1:31:13 PM PST by springwater13

President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced that Trump for President CEO Stephen K. Bannon will serve as Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor to the President, and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus will serve as White House Chief of Staff.

Bannon and Priebus will continue the effective leadership team they formed during the campaign, working as equal partners to transform the federal government, making it much more efficient, effective and productive. Bannon and Priebus will also work together with Vice President-elect Mike Pence to help lead the transition process in the run-up to Inauguration Day.

“I am thrilled to have my very successful team continue with me in leading our country,” said President-elect Trump. “Steve and Reince are highly qualified leaders who worked well together on our campaign and led us to a historic victory. Now I will have them both with me in the White House as we work to make America great again.”

I’m not convinced Priebus is not a political opportunist who saw the handwriting on the wall and joined the team that would help his own political future.

I don’t think it can get better than what we have accomplished this week.

Pinch me.

Pints

I think "pints" is the winner, also mentioned in post #125. About the only word that rhymes with the "ein" sound in Reince.

It’s just a German name...sort of. “Reince” is a nickname for his real first name, Reinhold, which is fairly commonplace in Germany. Hey it’s better than “Reiny,” which they conceivably might have gone with.

Colorado is a done deal. I personally heard Colorado GOP chairman Steve House say at a small public meeting in my little berg that as the Trump vote went, so would the rest of the GOP ticket in Colorado. The Colorado GOP did finally board the Trump Train as it went flying by, though they barely managed to grab the caboose at the last moment, and their late conversion is probably what cost that flip-floper, Darryl Glenn, the Senate election.

Nonetheless, the Colorado GOP got the message LOUD AND CLEAR when tens of thousands of us slammed the crap out of them on social media for being disloyal and out-of-touch with their voters.

I don’t think there will ANY more trouble out of the GOP in Colorado. I would imagine that the selfish, rotten, disloyal Cruz troublemakers like Kendal Unruh have already been permanently purged.

What if Trump forces Prince Pubus to FIRE RYAN?

The Executive and Congress are two separate branches of our federal government. The President has zero ability to "fire" any member of Congress. The Senate and House each select their own leadership, so if the members of the House want to retain Ryan, we're stuck with him.

“Yes, It is just terrible how Donald J Trump keeps making one bad personnel decision after another!”

Indeed. Next thing you know, Trump will screw up again by appointing Rudy Guiliani AG, General Flynn as Sec DoD, and Myron Ebell to head the EPA.

Maybe he would have changed Hail to the Chief to the Johnny Quest theme.

“Sounds like we should have elected Lizavetta instead of President-Elect Trump since she (he?) obviously knows more about how to pick a staff.”

My exact thought! What say you Lizavetta, you want to run for President?

“Rince Pubis. I have no intention of stopping ridiculing his name. Let’s keep a healthy contempt for the treacherous.”

The only problem with that is that there’s no sign of him having BEEN treacherous.

“I believe California Lefty whites are moving into Colorado and Ohio”

Are? They’ve been doing that for decades now in Colorado. They fouled their own nests in California and now they’ve come here to do it again. It’s horrible what they’ve done to our state.

You don’t become the chairman of one of the two main political parties without being an opportunist.

With that said, the proof is in the pudding. Where was the party when he took over and where is it now?

The guy is clearly an effective organizer and he backed Trump just as he said he would. It was clear throughout the campaign that Trump trusted him more as the process went on and he was singled out by Trump and others for having a big role in our victory.

Give him a chance. He earned it and he is clearly good at organizing because the GOP machine (despite what the RINO backstabbers did) did a great job for Trump in the election.

Isn’t that REFRESHING?

I tell you WHAT - LEADERSHIP is what is NEEDED these days!

That panty-waste, jug-eared Poofter that’s been ‘occupying’ OUR White House these past eight (GAG!) years has truly been The Worst President Ever!

(And that’s amazing, having lived through Carter!)

We are in for one helluva ride! And while the leftists will scream and whine and suck their thumbs and hold their blankies, THEY are going to benefit GREATLY from watching an ADULT take the reigns for ONCE in their sad little lives!

President-Elect (LOVE THAT!) Trump IS going to change hearts and minds...FOR THE BETTER!

Best. Election. Ever. EVER. :)

“not thrilled with these picks.”

you’re not thrilled with ANYTHING about Trump are you? You’re one of the original hardcore Cruz trolls banned from FR and now I see from your posting history you should have STAYED banned! Jim Robinson made a BIG mistake letting you back in.

I think Trump rewards loyalty. He’ll work with him now, but if there is a vote on Ryan as Speaker, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump lobbies for a replacement.

Rinse.

Lol, I've often used that one, but it doesn't rhyme with the "einc" sound. A couple of people have said "pints" and that might about as close as anyone can get to it.
