Bill Ford, the Chairman of Ford Moters, called Donald Trump tonight and said he will be keeing the Lincoln plant in Kentucky- Not Mexico.

I have been proudly driving my 2005 Ford Edge Ranger 4WD 4.0 SOHC for 4 years now.
I love my truck. It gets me up and down the hills in deep snow.
I can haul my brush to the dump. Just tie everything up using the side rails and rope
I can haul half a yard of top soil at a time to my property.
Good quality, American made. A small truck, lots of power and acceleration.
I paid 10,000 for it used in 2012. Low mileage.
It looks small compared to the Heavy Duty’s 55,000 dollar trucks, but it does the job.
I have a feeling that Putin and Trump have a great deal of common ground. They both want to halt the march of Islam into Europe. They will work together to make the Saudis and the Iranians pay for the settling of refugees in various places about the Levant.
This drives the left in America crazy to no end.

It looks to me like the networks are completely ignoring the fact that Trump actually spoke with the chairman of Ford.
If indeed true, this would be the first BIG WIN for America through a Trump admin. Holding out for conformation, but seems to be great news.

Yes, you are absolutely correct - perfectly put...and it is also another way of saying, they were all eating at the carcass of the once great nation, having just about completely devouring it in those 30 years.
I switched completely to Ford after the government bailout several years ago. Not one regret in that time. After having 4 Dodge vehicles blow 3 transmissions and an engine, I was done with them. Even the nissan we had was crap.
8 Ford vehicles for my family over the last 8 years. Not one major repair (that wasn’t caused by me or my children). Knock on wood.
It made no sense whatsoever that we were ratcheting up conflict with Russia the way we were. The mess in Syria was as much our doing as anything else and we had no strategic interest whatsoever in removing Assad (or Qaddafi) from power. Russia blocking the Saudis from developing their pipeline and exporting Sharia by keeping Assad didn’t harm our strategic position...and actually helps in the fight against terrorism - Saudi Arabia is the primary source of Jihad, certainly Syria has never been that.
And frankly, Ukraine is in the Russian sphere of influence and always will be. We should not have a major dog in that fight. Ukraine is a chit in the European battle and we should not base our relationship with Russia on some newfound loyalty to Ukraine. We will have better impact anyway by having good relations with Russia than by having low-grade conflict with them.
Much better for us to engage positively with Russia and work with them to create greater ties and a more lucrative and positive relationship. The benefits of that far exceed any downside from a more prosperous and engaged Russian nation.
