FULL TITLE - MSNBC Guest: ‘Radical Extremist’ Jeff Sessions Would ‘Start Bringing Civil Rights Cases on Behalf of White People’

Former federal prosecutor Paul Butler appeared on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” with Al Sharpton Sunday to weigh in on President-elect Donald Trump choosing Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) to serve as his attorney general.

Butler called Sessions a “radical extremist” who would bring “civil rights cases on behalf of white people.”

Partial transcript as follows:

All of these progressive interventions for civil rights, they would be not only dead on arrival, [Sessions] would take us back. Because one thing we’ve seen with other conservative administrations is not only do they stop bringing the cases, they start bringing civil rights cases on behalf of white people. They start saying things like Affirmative Action, like set asides for minority and women owned businesses, they start making the argument those are unconstitutional. Guess what, if Trump gets his way with the Supreme Court, they’re gonna win those arguments. We’re talking about a radical extremist here who would be in charge of protecting everybody’s civil rights. He hasn’t shown any evidence that he’s capable of doing that.

Protecting Whites does not fall into the category of "protecting everybody’s civil rights.

When it comes to Senate hearings, I hope that Sessions’ critics are prepared to deal with this info:

Shouldn’t all Americans have the same rights?

Funny, I was under the impression that white people have civil rights too. Apparently not, at least in this guy’s alleged mind.

Watchu talkin’ ‘bout, Willis? Eric Holder, appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, was a racist who admitted that Whites had no standing in his DOJ. Whites, who are still the majority in this country, are tired of this shabby treatment, particularly since we have paid for everything and never hear a word of thanks from the minorities who only brow beat us for more sharing of our paychecks.

Heaven forbid that Whites have the same rights as minorities! What do Conservatives think, that we are all equal under the law?

Having Al Sharpton label someone a “radical extremist” is like Kim Jung Un labeling someone a “radical capitalist”.

While contracting at a Fortune 500 defense company I applied for a regular employee job. On the internet application it asked my race. I asked the HR lady if that mattered. She told me that part of her job was to check the applications each day to see if a black person had applied. If the square was not marked she assumed the applicant was white and relegated it to the bottom of the pile. Yes it’s “reverse” racism. (Racism is racism.) But their contracts mandated a certain percentage of highly compensated jobs go to blacks. If they met the goal the company got a greater percentage of award fee.

The downside is the company would be rewarded for affirmative action hires who could not do the job. Fortunately they had so little money they couldn’t afford affirmative action hires. Also, no blacks applied for that location’s jobs; qualified or not. However, many jobs that needed to be filled and were being worked as overtime by other employees were not filled because of the hoped-for, apparently mythical qualified black applicant.

Not if some are “special”. Liblogic just lit a light bulb in my head. The civil rights act was passed by republicans in order for the super elites to put in place a means to keep oppressing minorities while the dems opposed it because they recognized it would lead to further oppression. Does that sound like lib logic to you? Now that an Ultra elitist is going to be the president, what’s to stop him from deporting all trespassers and non whites? LOL! The assclowns are certainly buying it.

You mean, he would insure that the laws protect every American equally? What kind of sick individual would think this is bad?

(Rhetorical question, of course). Answer: racist Progs.
