Yes, he did. Petraeus condemned the preacher’s actions as “hateful, extremely disrespectful and enormously intolerant.” He worried about the violence in Afghanistan, but said the Afghans’ response was because of their “perhaps understandable” passion.

Trump should take a pass on Petraeus. Too much baggage—conviction, 1,000s of email with Clinton, etc. Loser.

The Obama Administration shafted Petraeus, and Trump thought it was yet another attempt to pimp an American General. Therefore Trump wants to help Petraeus, especially since Hillary who has done much worse, is skating for similar and much, much more heinous crimes. The Petraeus sin pales in comparison to Hillary and her husband’s total corruption. Trump doesn’t like it when someone in the military gets shafted. I think it is as simple as that.
There are more than a few examples of just that.To hell with the elite.
Petraeus got rid of the Iranian paymasters in Iraq in December 2006, a month before the surge started. Attacks went from over 100 to 7 in one week. And they stayed down. That one act of leadership saved hundreds of American lives.
