I think they are already bankrupt if you count the pension liability. It should be criminal what these politicians do with their fiduciary responsibilities. Problem is that they will have lived a rich full life and died long before the debt bomb explodes.

SEIU is nothing but a bunch of toilet cleaners, gang bangers, thugs, and criminals.
Know them well, had to deal with them for years.
They remind me a lot of Black Lives Matter.

I presume the same affiliation, what with the connections to Obama. All radical Marxist infiltrators.

It should be law that individual taxpayers could attend the bargaining table.

Where are Conservative judges who sue for individual taxpayer rights?

The state has promised an estimated $72 billion in health care benefits for its current and future retirees, an amount that will increase to more than $300 billion over the next three decades

By enslaving future generations in perpetual debt to pay for their wants today. If the STATE has a legal right to the fruits of your labor to pay for thier wants, doesn’t that be definition make you an Economic Slave??

Isn’t an “Unfunded Liability” the very definition of Involuntary Servitude?

Based on footage I’ve seen of their protests/marches, they seem to mirror the trend of Hispanics taking jobs from blacks. An imported HLM, so to speak; like their kin in fast-food companies, many Hispanics are realizing that while they may work here they will find it hard to prosper. They don’t want to just fund Americans’ retirements and welfare...

California’s largest public-employee union announced Saturday that it had reached a contract agreement with Gov. Jerry Brown’s administration.

Wow. I'll bet that was a knock-down, drag-out negotiation, eh?

Union Rep: Now, look here, Governor Brown. We demand a 25% raise in wages, 50% increase in pensions and a 30 hour work week!

Gov. Brown: Oh, yeah? Well, you'll get a 30% increase in wages, a 100% increase in pensions and 20 hour work week. And like it!

Union Rep.: Grrrrrr. We know when we've met our match. Okay. We'll take it. But we'll be back.

Gov. Brown: Expect more of the same. There's plenty more where that came from.
