But it was what got him elected in the first place, it got him the nomination over Hillary in 2008, and I can pretty much tell you if the complete opposite happened this election (Trump Wins popular vote, but loses electoral vote), Obama would praise the electoral college, and all the people salty about it right now would be heralding it as “savior of America”
