So this whole idea of being a republic is just an outdated idea. We should just exile him to Syria, let him transform it into his wonderful democracy.

After observing the past few weeks, I think there is a change that needs to be made to the EC. Get rid of the electors and just let the votes be totaled as each state certifies their results. These electors are not there to override the vote of the citizens of their states. They might have served some purpose in the years when communications were by pony express and stagecoach, and the voters had limited sources of information, but no longer.
Of course, that would require a constitutional amendment.
Obama doesn’t know if he is going or coming.
The Electoral College worked for him. Why won’t it work now?
Obama may actually be seeing the future VERY CLEARLY.
Here’s what may well be coming: The Justice Department, under Trump, lets the states take care of running their elections. The Red and Pink States clean up their processes greatly, and become solid-red. The blue states continue to in their direction of ballot-stuffing...but, as we just saw, millions of illegal votes in California didn’t do a damn thing for Hillary - because of the Electoral College.
So get rid of the Electoral College and California’s ballot-stuffing will very possibly give the Dems a LOCK on power. Can’t say I blame the President for wanting to do that - since with the red and pink states soon moving out of reach for him, the Dems are TOAST unless they come up with something drastic.
Too bad they don’t have the votes to do what they want...but they have nothing to lose by continuing to fight for it.
Ya the Dems can rule the US with just a few Mega cities

Obama (piss be upon him) thinks the entire U.S. Constitution is an outdated vestige of an earlier time in our history. He’s never been shy about voicing his disdain for it.
States rights already caused one civil war - does obama and the left want another?

Since obama thinks the constitution is outdated...lets reorganize the country. All blue counties are kicked out..all inroads..air...land..sea are cut off... Exvept one per county..then lets watch a serf civil war...and come in and pick up the pieces....you like that? Simple, One county...One vote...Make the Electoral College more closely represent the Nation.
Winner will need to get 51% of the county-based Electoral College votes. Change election "day" to election "week".
The states are the only reason for the existence of the federal government.
The US Constitution is a contract between the states, to provide for a set of common agreed upon rules and laws.
What the federal government has evolved into in NOT what the states agreed to.
If the feds think they can go full-blown communist, and run roughshod over the states, think again.
The only people objecting to this are the communist/fascist wannabes who profit from one party/government rule.
