Vice President Joe Biden said Saturday the late astronaut and former Sen. John Glenn will be remembered by Americans not just for his decades of accomplishments, but for exemplifying what love looks like through his life.
"Jill and I are here because we love you, Annie, and we loved John," Biden said at Glenn's memorial service inside the Mershon Auditorium at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. "And together, you taught us all how to love.

Biden is a piece of slime and the below proves it.
Lets not forget that Biden went around for DECADES, from 1972 until 2007, slandering the truck driver, Curtis Dunne, who his first wife turned out in front of killing her and his child, injuring his other children.
Biden would give speeches talking about the tragedy implying how the truck driver was drunk. Even AFTER the truck driver died in 1999 he would do this. The truck drivers family pleaded with him to stop and 8 years after the truck driver’s death he stopped saying it.

I have always felt Joe Biden to be a self-absorbed idiot and he does manage to say stupid stuff (can he not afford speech writers?). Probably because he starts to feel jazzed up and ad libs nonsense.
However, Biden has had more than his fair share of tragedies - First wife and young child were killed, two other sons severely injured in an auto accident and then losing his son Beau at age 46.
For the sake of his surviving children, he should have stayed away from the celebrity of elective office and used his education for a profession out of the public eye.

Back when John Glenn was first running for the Senate he landed his plane at the airport where I kept mine. He was there for a "meet the media" session. I had been straightening up my hanger and was wearing a pair of jeans and a T shirt. I had taxied my plane to the gas pumps just before Glenn pulled up in his plane. I rarely had the line boy top off my plane. If he was busy I would just top it off myself.
Glenn jumped out of his plane and said to me, "Hey BOY.. fill my plane up and tie it down!" My first thought is what a nasty S.O.B Glenn was. I had never given such an order to a line boy in my life.
So I replied, "Go F... your self you obnoxious a$$ hole. If you want your plane filled up and tied down, do it yourself!"
Glenn turned bright red, and went into the office to demand that I be fired. The airport manager looked out the window and told Glenn, "That is not the line boy Mr. Glenn, that is the President of Maumee Valley Broadcasting, Inc. He is one to the media people you are here to meet. Looks like you are off to a great start."
Not long after Glenn has an ear problem and withdrew from the quest for a senate seat for another two years.
Glenn was an a$$hole then .. he is an a$$hole now.
I heard from Ohio friends before Glenn declared to run as a Rat he tested GOP waters first. He tried to cut a “deal” with Rhodes and other GOP magnates. They wouldn’t give him the “deal” he wanted so he went Rat and what he wanted there.
A dead one as of last weekn the last of the mercury 7. I respect his military and NASA services.

Joe Biden certainly knows how to love - he’s clearly in love with Joe Biden.
The names of slave-owners are pulled off institutions and buildings. Baby-killers should not be given praise as good citizens, fine people, or heroes.
