US President-elect Donald Trump may reverse up to 70 percent of President Barack Obama’s executive orders, practically erasing the legacy of the first African-American head of state, Former House speaker Newt Gingrich told Fox.
Obama, who signed over 260 executive orders in his two terms in office, urged Trump, who will be inaugurated on January 20, not to circumvent Congress when trying to enact his agenda. Obama used his executive powers to push through labor, climate and immigration reforms after Congress refused to go along with his proposed programs.

I swear the left didn’t get all of this crap in one day, but the right expects it gone in 4 minutes or else.
Executive orders are intended to be a means for the executive to perform his duty to faithfully execute the law. They give direction to lower levels of government about how to implement congressionally enacted laws, they are not meant to be laws themselves, at least in principle. Some of Obama's EOs many be purely administrative, or contain necessary practical administrative instructions. Others may be discretionary, or may exceed the president's lawful authority. It is the latter class that can be summarily countermanded.

Many of them are simply nothings...They are all on line someplace.
For instance, the president could order the armed services to perform instruction in “race relations” on an annual, monthly or a weekly basis, or not offer any instruction or guidance. Either option is within the scope of his power and responsibility. A new president could change such a policy with his phone and a pen.
Get rid of 100%. Anything worth saving can be done by Trump.

probably only 70 or 80 percent of BO’s EO’s were harmful, destructive, or illegal. It is possible he signed out some EO’s that were legal and not damaging, EO’s for proper purposes like directing an agency to implement a Congressional mandate.
Nevertheless, it would be Excellent “optics” and help reassure the American people if DJT would just revoke ALL of BO’s EO’s.... with the understanding that if there were a few proper EO’s then DJT will issue them himself now that he’s elected.
Tag the other 30% and get rid of them.
If Trump does not compete that , the people will NEVER be satisfied.
The DOnald will have but one chance to keep the people on board.If he does not get rid of all executive orders, then the people will not now stand idly by and watch the crap flow out of what Obama has left.
Civil disobedience to Obama’s executive orders will become rampant. Rightly so.
