Barack Obama is not a standard American president. For one thing, he has made it very clear that he considers the US Constitution, the greatest blessing of this land, to be an easily trashed piece of paper. Abe Lincoln would have disagreed, but then what did Lincoln know? Today's Marxo-Jihadists, who rule our campuses with a reign of PC terror, agree with Obama, and that's all that counts. Dump the Constitution and follow shari'a law, especially you feminists...
So what is Obama doing by imitating his (false) idea of Senator Joe McCarthy. My, my, Dear Leader is suddenly down on Vladimir Putin. What a surprise.
For "evidence" Mr. Obama trots out phony reports attributed to the CIA and FBI, which are totally under his thumb. Mr. Putin isn't taking the bait, because he has a lifetime spent learning about provokatsya as a tool of Soviet pressure politics.
And Putin has rejected Communism in favor of the Russian Orthodox Church, with the approval of more than half of the Russian public, which has traumatic memories of deadly Stalin persecutions, priest killing and church-burnings of the Orthodox faithful. Mr. Putin makes very sure to put his photos with the Patriarch of Moscow on the web, to assure his people that Stalin's persecutions will not happen on his watch. And he promises instant castration to any jihadis who might make trouble (especially the Chechens).
Trump and his foreign policy team are completely familiar with modern, post-Soviet Russia. It's not a Jeffersonian democracy, but neither are we any more. Russia is a modern mix of Tsarism and realpolitik, something much better than under Stalin, and more economically wise than under Gorbachev. Putin is a pragmatist.

I think that Putin and the Russian leadership is far smarter than to allow Obama to ruin Russian-American relations over the course of the next 18 days. It is easy to look beyond January 20th and see that a sane and rational set of policies will be pursued. Obama is now of extraordinary little importance, and can only regain influence by literally attacking Russia.

If Obama had just made one or two America-sabotaging moves, say the anti-Israeli UN resolution, he would have had more impact. Instead, he took a political shotgun to the world, “permanently” halting oil drilling on the continental shelf, seizing huge swaths of land and forever locking away any possibility of development. Because he was so blatant I don’t see why Trump can’t simply undo them and challenge them to come up with the money to fight him. Meanwhile, leave the UN and kick it out, give back the seized land and sign drilling rights on the shelf. Once Trump has created a bold fact it won’t be easily undone by the courts. The Left’s attempts to stop economic development and kill jobs will mark them in even more minds as the party of insanity.

Obama is trying to sabotage President Trump and destroy America. I imagine that both President Putin and President Trump are laughing at the pettiness and will ignore all the nonsense.
Seems like some of these things Obama is doing in regards to U.S./Russian relations is illegal. Even a President should not be able to attempt to destabilize a government.
Ineligible usurpers pay no attention to laws or the Constitution. No one cared enough about the Constitution to stop him, why should he?
Business with China makes a lot of business magnates rich, while hollowing out the US economy.
Chinese interests, domestic and foreign, “spread the wealth” to a lot of lobbyists and politicians.
Trump’s MAGA plans for employment of Americans in America would be at the expense of the China/US magnate/lobbyist/politician axis.
The US can’t confront China while at odds with Russia.
Obama, McCain, Graham: doing the puppet show shim-sham.
Obama’s actually HELPING US-Russian relations.
