What effect were these conjectural “hacks” supposed to have? There is little likelihood that the Russians would intervene to defeat Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, just so they could deal with Trump. If anything, the Russians would have very much WANTED Herself to be the acting puppet sitting in the Oval Orifice, as they would enjoy generally little challenge to their intentions to be the dominant international superpower.
The Russians, for the most part, are relatively rational people, willing to play chess as an intellectual and shrewd game, on an international level. They saw the Current Occupant and his stooge Secretaries of State as unsophisticated and clumsy players, and did not disguise their scorn and general dislike of any of the Current Regime in the territory once known as “the United States of America”. President-Elect Donald J. Trump appears to be a much more practiced and polished player on the international scene, and moreover, is a very quick learner, which makes the challenge all the more an exercise in intellectual acuity. Trump is somebody they can actually respect. They would take an easy victory most any day, which is why they would not have explicitly harmed Herself, but knowing Herself was taking dead aim at her own foot, did not do much to help Herself either.
The Russians may have sympathies for one side or the other in this fight, but they weren’t putting any money on either.
I suspect the reference is not to a specific keyboard but rather a specific keyboard TYPE. Maybe standard issue Cyrllic.

Good question. But after reading their report last week, am assuming they are referring to the code that was used to generate the phishing attack that trapped Podesta. But hackers codes are downloaded every day thousands of times. Great hackers write their own code. Moderate hackers modify that code. Script kiddies just use the code as is.
I don’t think it was a hack. It was a dump to wikileaks.

I’m still waiting on a single, solitary report that indicates what election system/computer was hacked. John Podesta’s email account doesn’t count.
I’m also waiting on Podesta and the DNC to tell us the leaked emails were altered, and exactly WHAT was altered.
The only thing that got hacked was the “integrity” of the Democrats.
There were no “election hacks.” The DNC is not part of the vast, decentralized US election “system,” which is actually a hodgepodge of thousands of independent systems - some of them manual - nationwide
